This one amused me

I can't really explain why - but for some reason this cover just cracked me up! I like it. I have it in my cart at EHarlequin - but still it makes me laugh.

Mind you he does have Very Fine Ass.....etts

How about anyone else? Like it? Hate it? Buy it? Skip it?

It would be less funny, to me, if her skirt were darker. On first glance it looks like two women.

heh.

lol Yup, I'm sold, definitely going to buy that just based on the cover. Too funny. :P

My first thought was wondering if that was a guys butt or a girls butt being grabbed. it looks very girly.

Misty - upon first viewing it could be taken for a girls butt. But once you look further, you can see it is a guys butt - a very fine one. It's just that he's wearing clothing from a bygone era. And I do so love his boots!

Samantha: Isn't it freeing to declare: "YES!! I AM shallow and I shall buy on cover alone!"

Lisabea: Contrasting colour would have been better I think. But if he were wearing black breeches - the "definition" wouldn't be quite so noticeable heh heh - so I think it would have been better to put her in darker skirts.

Love the pants, love the boots, love the a**. Yeah, I'd buy it. :)
Oh, and I agree it would be more striking if the dress were darker.

I thought it was a girl in front too. He's got a dancer's booty.

I like it. Sexy and original.
But then again also I love the cover to Megan Hart's TEMPTED, so take it for what it's worth! ;)

I agree, total dancer's butt. It's striking, but makes me giggle.

And just so you know, I'm giving away a copy of The Last Twilight by Marjorie M. Liu on both my blogs. It's only 1 copy though. amazon.com snafu. *sigh*

So, if anyone's interested, come over to my blog & comment. :)

I think what cracks me up so much is that she has such a Handle! on his ass....etts

Yes, she does have quite a handful doesn't she? It makes me giggle, but I wouldn't buy it based on this cover alone; too embarassing for me.

Even though this has a bubble butt cover, the synopsis for the book looks pretty interesting!
Me thinks I will buy and review :)

It's Brandon Wycroft's duty as the Earl of Stockport to catch the "Cat," a notorious thief who is stealing from rich local homes to feed the poor. Discovering that the Cat is a woman, he changes his plan of action—to a game of seduction!

Mysterious and tempting, she teases him. And, as the net closes around the Cat, Brandon realizes he wants to protect her as well as bed her. But the only way to catch her is to spring the parson's mousetrap—and make her his countess!

This is the kind of book that I end up putting my hand over the cover on the Metro when I read it. LOL!

But I have to agree with Kate, bubble butt. Totally.

Plus, she's quite the liberated Regency miss to just grab a hold of his ass and go. Clearly she's a hoyden.
