You'll be happy to know that I just passed the movie onto my good friend and neighbor (put it in her mailbox) Patricia at http://www.pvedesign.blogspot.com/ . I'm being a good crusader. Let's see if she gets the bug.
Kwana: *huge grin* I added her as a 'Maybe Crusader'. In order to move to the Crusader list, she must view and blog. Here's hoping she will have that inherent gene that appears once she has seen it. It's the one that causes said gene carrier to watch it over and over - first it starts with an immediate re-watching of the final scene - then spread until you have to watch the whole thing again. It's then characterized by the need to watch Robin Hood - even though you know he is a Very Bad Man. Then of course it gets even stronger once you see him in Vicar of Dibly.
Kristie, I joined the Richard Armitage cult along time ago. I've since watched the last episodes of the Vicar of Dibley (which I bought) solely because he ends up falling in love with Dawn French's Geraldine. I'm not fond of Robin Hood but I do adore him as Sir Guy of Gisbourne. Sigh! And I'm dying to get my hands on a copy of the Miss Marple that he did.
Elizabeth: Isn't he just adorable in The Vicar of Dibley? I thought both episodes were SO funny. I loved her reaction when she realized it was her he wanted to marry - and that dream/video sequence - what a RIOT. There are a couple of things that he's in I also want to get. I'd love to get Sparkhouse. Also I'd love to get the audiobook he does for a Bernard Cornwell book - The Lords of the North. Just imagine listening to that voice for hours on end. I can't quite figure out the price though as it's listed in pounds rather than dollars. He is wonderfully talented isn't he - to go from the wickedly delicious Guy in RH to the suitor in VoD to the controlled but full of repressed passion in N&S!
