For those hump day blues!

Another reason to watch North and South- "WHITE SHIRT!"

Comments and drooling are always welcome!

Kristie here:
What Katie failed to mention is we (me - heh heh) discovered this pick last night while we were chatting up ideas for The Great North and South Crusade - and being normal red-blooded women - sharing pics.
We named it White Shirt.
We do odd things.
And of course we had to share this.
In case you don't know - this is a pic of Richard Armitage - you know - plays the hero in North and South.

Oh and we didn't mention this. In case you haven't done it, click on the pic and you get to see an even BIGGER picture.

Let's just say when Kristie sent Sula and I this wonderful picture, the three letters- OMG were used over and over.

You two seriously crack me up.

Kristie,
I love how you find something you adore and then force it on all us unsuspecting romance lovers. LOL

I got this in the mail from Netflix the other day, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Soon, I promise.

And yes, I'm drooling...

:)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I need to watch N&S again. I also need to do a post about it. Until then, I'll just admire the White Shirt. ;)

I've mentioned elsewhere, but it;s worth saying again! I haven't watched this before but I KNOW that I am getting it for Christmas.

He's so beautiful. *sigh* He also looks a bit younger here than he does in North and South. Or maybe it's just that he's dressed in modern clothes.

Holly - LOL - I don't know if I'd call it Force. I prefer the term - gentle persuasion (to the point of almost being annoying) *g*. But it only works if it's something I Really, Really Really Love. And lucky for me, I have partners in persuasion! And we will be haunting your blog to see your thoughts once you get a chance to watch it.
And I think last night we passed drooling and were into panting territory! Drooling was a given ;)

Mollie: As we have discovered, one can NEVER watch it enough. That's why owning one's own copy is almost essential, if the fever gets hold of you.

Oh Marg!!! You are going to have One Very, Very Good present then. And of course you must share your thoughts too - once you've seen it.

Jennie: Isn't he just in this picture??? He does look a little younger - but I think it's fairly recent because if you see him in some of his earlier roles, while still very fine - he doesn't quite have the (for lack of a better word) awesomeness that he seems to now.

Sula has this too. It's a conspiracy, I tell you. I won't be able to watch this until NEXT WEEK. dang.

Lisabea: *g* You just have to sing that old Carly Simon song, Anticipation........

Weird double comment. Don't know how that happened. :D

Kaitlin!!! It was because you're now caught up in The Crusade too *g* Now you too know where we're coming from and why we can't stop talking about it! Isn't it wonderful!! There are so many Amazing scenes. Of course one must start with The Train Scene. Then of course there is the Look back at me scene, when we first see him - he pack a wallop doesn't he? And I mean that metaphorically and physically *g* And that voice - yum!
And do you picture him as Derek?

KT Grant said...

I really can't stop looking at this picture. Really want to kiss my computer screen everytime I see it.
Has traffic gone up here since the picture has been posted?

You guys are so funny!

Kristie (J) said...

Marg: You have to admit though - White Shirt is one mighty fine picture :) And it will help build anticipation for Christmas too! You can be thinking - not long now and he will be at my disposal - well the movie - not Richard himself of course.

Marg said...

Oh for sure! No doubt he is droolworthy!

*swoon!*

And this is what happens to The White Shirt when I get through with him. He buttoned his trousers for the sake of modesty.

It's sad how many pictures of former Secretay of State Richard Armitage you have to wade through to get to the goods. And did you ever see "The Vicar of Dibley"'s Christmas special? It was the series finale where the vicar marries Richard Armitage.

Marg said...

I just watched that entire episode of The Vicar of Dibley and thought it was fantastic! The Vicar is definitely a very lucky girl to be marrying Richard Armitage!

Carrie Lofty said...

That link I provided was for Part II of the Christmas Finale. This is Part I, where they meet. The proposal scene is particularly memorable, and she reacts just about how I would.

Marg said...

Lucky I am not in a hurry this morning! Now I will need to watch this too!

Kristie (J) said...

Carrie: LMAO - he didn't HAVE to button his trousers. He could have left the top one undone *g*. I've seen the proposal scene of the Vicar of Dibley and *g* that would pretty much be my reaction too. As for the other one you linked :-( no sound yet. But once I get it restored I'll watch it.

And just think Marg -- not long now!

Marg said...

Not long now at all! Would it be wrong to watch it before Christmas as long as my son doesn't find out??

Yes...
