In case we didn't make clear - after having seen the series, we might be forgiven, North and South is based on a book written by Elizabeth Gaskell written in 1855, first as a serial.
We mentioned earlier on that there is a contest for anyone who watches North and South and posts about it - a couple really - we will be revisiting them again in the future - but - for those who are interested, at JMC's blog, Robin posted a link for a free download of the book North and South for an e-book version.
Marg: who got this for Christmas has weighed in with her thoughts - and the need for DVD help *wink*
alas, I'm not the one to ask for any kind of techincal help. I have no sound and now a wonky mouse with my computer
And since the last update there have been more who have fallen under it's spell.
DanceChica - who closed her blog but is still with us!!
MaryKate is halfway there. Just wait until she get's to the final scene! (and I'm hoping this is the right link to your blog)

Kristie, your influence is far reaching. :P You're awesome!!
So is Katiebabs!
Ames: I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get your copy today - as well as the other books you're waiting for!!
Then I can hardly wait to see what you think of it *g* Hopefully you'll find it worth all the type we have given it.
Yup - That's my blog. I'm in and will do a review once I've finished the movie tonight.
But first...the gym. SIGH - yup, I'm one of those people who resolved to work out more this year.
UGH.
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your blog!! I love to read your reviews. Looking forward to good things in 2008!!
Julie
Julie: Thank you for visiting!! It's nice to 'meet' you. And have you been reading our reviews of the North and South Series (bwaahaa - the Gentle Pursuader strikes again!)
Seriously though - thanks for enjoying the blog and I hope you keep coming back. As for me - I'm waiting until February for things to start looking good - 'cause right now they frighten me!!! February will be my mantra
MaryKate: You may say you will do a review tonight - but if you do indeed have "the Fever" we won't be expecting it tonight. Because you see, once you watch the final scene, you will be a mush puddle and you will have a big dopey grin on your face. Then you will have to watch the final scene over and over and over and over, then the fourth episode, then the whole thing again - all four hours. That seems to be how it works for those who have caught the Fever so far. *huge grin*
The Crusade marches on. Everyone may as well give in, there's no stopping it.
I hope Dancechica will still be popping up around.
Huh. Well, it's close to 11:00 and I wanted to get my thoughts down right away.
Here's the link
