This and That

First This

I just finished Devil in Winter and all I can say is Wowzers!!! I think this is her best book since the infamous Dreaming of You that I might have *um* encouraged a few people to read. Since not everyone has found this book yet, and isn't it odd that
two of those have copies of the book I'm most eagerly awaiting, I won't say too much. But oh I loved this book. In fact, I think I'll read it again starting tomorrow. For those of you who haven't read this one yet but read the first two and thought Evie might not be a match for Sebastien - do not worry. She is more than a match for him. And anyone who wasn't sure about him after he kidnapped Lillian - not to worry. He makes a delightful hero. In fact - I don't say this lightly - he is right up there with Derek Craven as a hero extraodinaire!! It was almost a perfect book. The only thing that kind of through me off was when they kept referring to Cam as "the boy". Wasn't he supposed to be 22? And he sure weren't no boy in the scene with Daisy!!!
It was very weird though. Before Evie proposed and married Sebastien, we shared the same last name.

Grade - 5 out of 5

And now for That
I spent some more of my poker winnings. I broke down and bought

The first season DVD of Lost. Now I will have the episode of The Kiss all for my very own to watch and watch and watch

'til later

Kristie - *soothing voice* step away from the DVD player.

Great minds and all, I was looking at prices for the first season of LOST. Here's hoping that this week will be the new episode!

I have Loretta Chase's book which I think I will start as soon as I figure out A) what I want to eat and B) finish the blog rounds

Cindy: Well, if I hadn't had some winnings and been slightly depressed and needing something to cheer me up - I might not have got it. Of course after I already paid for it - I saw 4! sets of The Highlander. I've been wanting these ones for years!!!, ever since the show went off the air. Course they were all over $60 each set so I don't know if they sell on Amazon or not. I tried looking but couldn't find anything.

Ag: Excellent! I shall be waiting with bated breath to see what you think of it! And really - after reading DIW - it really helps since the main focus of both is gaming clubs. Way back in DOY, Ivo Jenner had a rival club to Craven's. Now DIW focuses on Ivo's club and how Sebastien handles the running of it. So I'm not just saying this - it really helps if you've read DOY - really! Sybil, Tara, Where'smyHero - am I not right??

Am I the only one who gets confused which belongs to whom? Lisa Kleypas - Devil in Winter and Anne Stuart - Devil's Waltz. [Or is it the other way round?]

It's just me, isn't it? I knew it.

Maili - Heh heh - no, it's very easy to get them mixed up. Congrats thought 'cause you guessed right :). I'm not having such a hard time telling the Devils apart, but it's another story when we get to the Sins. Lady of/ Lord of/Duke of - aaagggg - I have a real hard time telling them all apart. And when half of them seem to have the same cover too - well - then you need a scorecard to carry around all the time to keep track of what's what and who's who. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of individuality in titles any more!

nah I think it is just maili ;)

LOVE this book. Everything Kristie says is true... there is one other thing besides Cam that makes me wonder if there was a lot of editing.

I am not sure if it was a 'meant to be there to show how S doesn't treat E like other women' and doesn't know it. Or if it was just a screw up ;).

And I LOVED the too tired to fuck thing....

Yeh the too tired bit! And all the "I don't like that word"s. They were a hoot. And it was you wasn't it that mentioned what he said he wanted to do to her when he had her against the door. - Whoa! that was hot!

I'm not getting you on the Cam and editing thing though. Now another good reason for a reread right away :)
ooohhhh I just loved them both!!

Well, that's three of you who loved this (you, Tara, and Sybil) so now I'm very anxious to find it. There are no bookstores near my home or workplace so I have to wait for the weekend. Rats!

"This" was a great book. And I'm with you I'm completely mixing up my "...Sins" as I'm reading "Lady of" and wondering if I actually read "Lord of".

Now to "that"--you will not believe this, but I forgot to borrow the first season of LOST, left my SIL's and completely forgot it *smacking myself in the head*
