Out and About

Just a quickie here. Between the early shift, SYTYCD Canada two hour shows and going out for dinner/potluck/dinner and couple of GREAT books, I haven't had any time at all to blog and very little to hop. I'm even late for my day at Access Romance!!!

But I should have more time tomorrow (Ryan is taking me out for dinner tonight)

Egads but I've missed blogging!!

Orannia: I did have a nice time! My son brought a good friend of his along with him - a coworker I worked with until she moved to another location for the same place. We get along like gangbusters and I wish they were more then just good friends. I'd love to have her for a daughter-in-law - but they both adamantly say they are just friends - nothing more. But it was oh so good to gang up on Rye for a change!

AL - I did have a good time as I just said. The only down part was I ordered chicken wings - MILD - and I think they brought me at least medium. I don't really like food that makes me break out in a sweat!!

So, how was dinner?

and what did you think of SYTYCD Canada so far? Any favorites yet?

I am a SYTYCD US junkie. This was the BEST season ever.

My RWA chapter is currently holding So You Think You Can Write (write write) competitons at our monthly meetings. I am the first guest choreographer--we make up names, so I'm Cheryl St.Michaels (like Mia Michaels) and I give them a writing assignment; they read it aloud and the members judge it. Much fun is had by all.

Cheryl: Hi!! Isn't it a great show!! Cute idea!! I'm often as "enthusiastic" at work as I am here so I've started sending out episode recaps to a group of us who went to the SYTYCD Canada tour last year. One of them suggested we have a pool once they reach the top twenty and the winner will get her ticket free for this season's tour. And I love having the choreographers from the US season as guest judges on SYTYCD Canad. Last week it was Mary Murphy and this week coming up is Mia. JeanLuc Genereoux is the "Nigel" of our version.

Nath, it's a bit too early to say yet, but that little girl from China who did the traditional Chinese dance from night 1 blew me away. How she managed to move her arms was truly artistic. They guy who danced to Womanizer cracked me up on the second night.
