I've reached a bit of block as far as blogging goes. It's a week since Dallas - hard to believe it was that long ago now. I haven't really been reading much since I got back. I'm trying to get into one book but it's just not holding my interest that much. Not sure if it's the book or me. I hate when that happens.
I still don't have my books that I had shipped from Dallas yet. I'm not concerned though because the UPS guy did call and said it would be maybe Friday but probably Monday.
I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books so I haven't been to that party.
So this is really a blog post about not really blogging.
I do have a book I want to post about, but I'm not sure where I put it to reference.
I could do housework, but I'm not in the mood for that either.
I am at a stalemate.
Hopefully the creative juices or the reading urge or whatever it takes will be back shortly because usually I can ramble on endlessly but I've nothing to ramble about.
'til later

I think it's hard after going somewhere you were really excited about. Like coming home from vacation and realizing it's over. So you're probably in a bit of a post high funk ;) It's also hot so I'm trying not to move much!
CindyS
It's taken me a little while to get back into my "normal" routine. Everything got thrown off in Dallas - eating schedule, sleeping schedule etc. But I'm glad you're still trying to get acclimated! Now I don't feel so guilty for neglecting Derek Craven LOL
BTW, Kristie, Derek and DOY came up in our conversation yesterday. I tried to tease Wendy a bit about reading it, but since she's already making a valiant effort it wasn't much fun.
You know, it's totally normal how you're feeling at the moment :D it's like Wendy said, it takes a while to get back into the normal routine... and you've been soo high during the Dallas trip, that probably all you want to do once you get home is relax :D Just take it easy :D It'll all come back LOL :D
Holy Cow, you're probably blogged out. Give it a few days, read some good books, you'll get back intot he groove soon. :)
I haven't been to the Harry Potter party either. I keep thinking there must be something wrong with me, because i don't even mind not being invited.
Sooner or later that happens to everyone so don't feel bad. I have some days when I don't know what the hell to talk about so I just ramble about anything I did or whatever. I've seen people not update for weeks because they have nothing to talk about so don't sweat it.
We'll still be here when you get back. ^__^
I just got over that "It's not you, It's me stage" with a book and it turned out to be great! Hopefully, yours will too. It's summer...everyone got the blog-blues, I think. :)
Cindy: I love to ramble so I wasn't stuck for long *g*
Wendy: You know I'm going to be keeping a close eye on you for your thoughts on the Cravenator. Then I'll hound you for another NYR (not yet read) book. *evil laugh*
Rosie: There are lots we can *urge* her to read. Books like *oh, um* Lord of Scoundrels!
Nath: I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing - but I'm pretty well back to normal now *sigh*
Tara: I don't know what it is, but I just don't have any real desire to read the HP books. And I feel bad about that since so many people love them.
Mailyn: I'm never gone for long - as you can see *chuckle*
Jodi: If you can accept that sometimes it's just not the book - it's the reader, it makes reading so much more relaxed. Then you can tell yourself that someday you WILL go back to that book! Someday.
And that anonymous was me - don't know what happened there!
