Step 1.
Find your name. That is the order you choose in.

Step 2. When it's your turn, "Call" ONE hero in the comments.
(Anybody from all of literature, but you can't have somebody who is already picked!)
Who will you pick? Tracy gets to start. Tracy, leave your hero's name in the comments. Then Thea gets to go. And so on. After this round, everybody will have five heroes, and draft round 6 will start at Kristie(J) & Katie(babs)'s. At the end of 7 drafts, everybody will have a group of 7 heroes to bring. Yes, trades are permitted. And if you missed last night's trade between CarolynJean and Lisabea... you've got some gossip to catch up on!
Don't worry about obsessively monitoring this thing. If you don't call your hero in 24 hours, 1 hour we'll skip you. LOL Just kidding. Maybe two hours. Or three. ;)

RULES:
• No picking out of order. Once the woman above you has chosen, it's your turn.
• Trades are permitted, but be clear about announcing the results in the comments or email so your host doesn't have to play sleuth.
• If it's your turn and we don't hear from you for 24 hours a few hours, sorry, you're skipped. But you can email your host ahead of time with your pick. Or comment as soon as you come back and your pick will be entered.
• Latecomers: SORRY, we wish everybody could play, but there has now been a moratorium placed on add-ons, due to the record-keeping nightmare this will soon become.
ROUND 1: (now over) Hosted at CarolynJean's.
ROUND 2: (now over) Hosted at Sarai's
ROUND 3: (now over) Hosted at lisabea's.
ROUND 4: (now over) Hosted at MaryKate's.
ROUND 5: (now over) Hosted at Christine's.
ROUND 6: Hosted at Katie(babs) & Kristie(J)'s.
ROUND 7: Hosted at Sula's!

*Kate stumbles out of her hut barely able to walk from all the sexin the night before*

And remember Kristie and I have the power to delete your picks if you steal our men because you are on our turf!

*Chugs some rum and hands a 6 pack to Kristie*

So ready.... steady... go... Let's get ready to island rumble!!

~**~**~**~**

And as an extra special bonus - Lisabea has been talking with the authors of some our DIK heroes and asked them to weigh in with their choices. And not only that!!! She has books to give away!!!

Hey, since the ladies here are so smart, can you explain something to me? How do you put links on the comments without having to do the whole http thing? I'm not html literate, so I'm confuzzled. :)

Bridget Locke said...

I was commenter 200!!! Do I win a pony??? Please say yes. :D he-he

Bridget Locke said...

If I did win a pony

Anyone recognize that quote? :)

I'm not at work. I'm lying on my bed watching the sun outside my window. Went to work for 2 minutes & got sent home...after PAYING FOR 3 HOURS OF PARKING! I'm still po'd about that one. *sigh* Whatever. It's over.

Can I just stay here? Please?

Anonymous said...

Animaniacs?

I just use the name/url thingy. I can use open id but it does not use my my name, it uses my blog name. I could quite possibly just update my blogger profile but I am lazy!

KT Grant said...

OMG someone need to claim Keir!! How could we have forgotten him?!!?
Aymless we have Wesley, he is in.... some hut...

Carolyn Crane said...

Oh, no! A competing island hideaway!

I think (Ciara) was Wesley. But those looks like great picks! I can almost hear the gears turning, aymless!

Anonymous said...

Well actually Katie...

Bridget Locke said...

Aymless-I chose Judd and someone else has Westley, so those ones are already taken. :)

I love fans. Cool breeze is feeling awesome right now. :)

JenB said...

Keir was on my list for a while, but I picked Cal Morissey instead.

Sarai said...

Aymless did we have to give away some of picks? I mean what's up with that?????

Sarai said...

sorry meant my picks not just random picks.
Please continue

Shaymless Aymless said...

LOL - Guess I need to read that list more carefully. ^_^

I should be a lock on Daemon Sadi and Julian of Macedon to keep them "safe" from you nefarious plots.

Shaymless Aymless said...

Sorry Sarai did mean to mess up your picks. >_<

Sarai said...

It's okay no biggie! *g*

Sarai said...

OH come on for Pete's sake where is SAM?

Sarai said...

Okay well I am clocking out in T minus 38 minutes and then I am gone. But in case Sam doesn't get on between now and then CJ has my pick...

Sarai said...

Are we doing this over the weekend or waiting until Monday to start up again?

Carolyn Crane said...

Yes, I now have Sarai's pick, a FINE one! Though I am about to go running. But I'll be back in 3 hours.

Just kidding. Way sooner.

Anonymous said...

Westley is MINE! He lurvs me. He does as I wish. And oh, how I wish. *nudge nudge wink wink*

I'm conflicted about the last round. I have two heroes I want. I should have picked one of them for this round. hmmmmmm.

Aymless- Adam Black is better than Circeen Brodie.

Ciara said...

I am leaving to bike to the bookstore. I have not biked in a year and I really hope my bike will make it, rust and all. Being stranded on a desert island with hot men is much preferable to being stranded on the bike path alone. Though if I manage to get to the book store, being stranded in the bookstore would be a-okay with me. ;) sounds like heaven!

As long as I make it there to buy Iron Kissed... wish me luck.

Sarai said...

SAM...S...A...M...
Please answer us....

Sarai said...

Good luck Ciara.
hey can I win something for leaving the most post?

Shaymless Aymless said...

Clara - you can have Adam. I'll keep Circenn ^_^

Tracy said...

Aymless...stop naming men and giving these girls ideas on MY men!!! Really!

Great picks everyone! Love Mark Darcy! *sigh*

sula said...

oooh, the suspense. i have my pick all ready to go. *taps fingers*

hey, so the next and final round is at my blog. lb and i were talking about this today. i really have to work (yeah, i know) during the weekdays so having it on a weekend would be more convenient. however, i know that the opposite timetable may be true for others. so what we were thinking is that we start round 7 on sunday and clearly it will spill over into monday. which is fine because everyone knows what monday is!!! MLM! And lisabea has the magic access keys to my blog and can keep up with the updating of the list and whatnot. Assuming I'm working.

k, that was long and rambly. thots, comments, suggestions?

after spending time typing all that...maybe it's my turn to pick now? lol.

Tracy said...

Jenb - so sorry to hear you're under the weather...at least you have your men to take care of you.

Kaitlin....Those bastards! How could they do that to you? What do you do for a living?

Tracy said...

Sula - sounds good to me.

Sarah said...

Right, have updated blogger profile so I can have an icon. It is all so about the pics.

Am off to shop for shoes. It is Saturday here and I cannot sit in bed with my laptop all day, that would be so lazy! And besides, thats what I did last Saturday! Off to get the lads up for shopping. They so loves the shop...not.

Happy diking around! Here's hoping my last pic does not get snarflled up!

Sarah said...

PS am easy about when you do the next dik, am so on the other side of the world that I can always email someone to post for me.

Sarai said...

OH Sarah I just bought a new pair (posted them on the blog) Have fun shopping I loves the shoes!!!

Sarai said...

Either way let me know about DIK so that I can send someone my post. If we start late on Sunday I might be able to escape to Starbucks again. I think the coffee maker has a small crush on me...

Joanna Chambers said...

Katie - I will let Mick occasionally worship your legs. He'll deserve a break from my cankles once in a while.

Husbag sighly loudly. I'm logging off.... I'll check in on how the party went tomorrow and post a sad little commment on how I missed it all.

Sarah said...

They are the most gorgeous pair of shoes eva!

I am sorry to say I am buying really boring sneakers. Much less exciting, but I needs them for work.

Sarai said...

Goodnight ya'all I am signing out until LATE LATE LATE Tonight so CJ has my pick.

Kati said...

Sula - Do whatever is easiest for you, no one wants it to be inconvenient for you. I'm out for tonight (it's Friday, baby, and there are cocktails to be had).

But I'm glad to tune in on Sunday whenever.

Tracy said...

Sam? Sam? Hello?

Shaymless Aymless said...

One last name and I promise to sit quietly in my corner (with my heroes) ^_^.

* Hari (Tiger Eye by Marjorie M. Liu)

Bridget Locke said...

I work for a major company taking orders over the phone for their catalog. It's a great job for benefits, but the management is very, very sadly lacking. Not naming any names, because I refuse to get fired for moaning about their stupidity.

Anywho, Sunday works fine for me. :) I have Sundays & Mondays off, so I can play! Yay!

And I'm still trying to find out if I won a pony or not? CJ? :D

Man, I'm such a dork. LOL!

Kristie (J) said...

Oooohhh Hari - he's a good one! You are giving us great ideas.

Bridget Locke said...

Kristie, I love your icon. What an awesome moment in moviedom. Sarai-You will love this movie...maybe. :) LOL!

Well, I'm off to the cleaners. Fun, fun. *sigh*

Shannon said...

Damn, I go do work and come back to over 100 comments.

I am heading out to a fancy shin-dig. I won't be home until late. Should I email someone my pick or just wait until I get home?

Tracy said...

I'd email just to be safe...but the way we're going you'll probably be able to post it all by yourself! :)

Kaitlin, I just commented on your blog and then couldn't figure out where the hell it had gone so did it again! LOL (I didn't see the "must be approved" thingy at the top - oops) Just delete the second one!

Carolyn Crane said...

Hey, since I already went this round, anybody is welcome to email me with picks at:
carolyn7000 (at) earthlink.net
make it a lowercase c!

I have Sarai's pick, but I think we're still waiting for Samantha!

Carolyn Crane said...

Shannon! that sounds fun!
Okay, I'm leaving temporarily.

Carolyn Crane said...

Okay, people, I have Shannon AND Sarai's pick. Maybe this is going into the weekend. I think people are out for the night.

Samantha Kane: You're up!

Bridget: You get a pony!

Tracy said...

oooh - I forgot about the pony that Kaitlin won! Well, at least you'll have something to ride in the sand and the surf...besides your men! ha!

Samantha Kane said...

OMG. I totally suck. I'm so sorry! I thought I was way back in the pack, and then I forgot my own blog, and then you know the snowball of life rolled me up and ... yada, yada, yada, excuse, excuse, excuse. I just suck. Which on this island is not a bad habit. OMG, did I just say that?

Okay, here's my pick and it's not a shock.

Rhys ~ LKH, Merry Gentry series.

I love Rhys. He's funny (those fairies can get pretty serious), he's mucho muscular, he likes to share, clarifying: he likes to share MERRY, he loves old movies, he's a former God of death (or is that war?) and SPOILER AHEAD he's the only one who's been in love with Merry since she was a girl, before she came into her magic when everyone thought she was a mortal loser.

And mea culpa, I'm sorry to make everyone wait.

Samantha Kane said...

Oh, and great picks! I can't believe someone picked Katou!

Samantha Kane said...

OH, and lb, you are so sweet to pick Derek! I was worried about Ian all alone on this island of voracious sex castaways. Well, not really, but he does like it better when Derek is somewhere in the vicinity. ;-)

Bev(QB) said...

Sam, when they were hollering for you earlier, I almost jumped in and said that Rhys was your pick. But then I figured that you might have changed your mind so I had just better keep my mouth shut.

I loves me some Rhys. He would be the perfect king for Merry-- he's ancient and knows all the old ways, yet he also embraces modern ways. It about killed me when he admitted that he had asked her father to marry her and still wants her just for herself- not as a queen- after all these years. ::BAWLS::

Oh, and he'll have the best abs on the island!

Carolyn Crane said...

Samantha!

No worries on the holding up. If we had gotten really antsy, I think somebody would've popped over to your blog and knocked on your door. We burned through the choices fast, and then everybody went about their Friday nights.

I should read that Merry Gentry series, i think. Sarah chose Baranthus, and now you have this Rhys!!

Carolyn Crane said...

Now, I'm here momentarily, but the question is, should I offer up Shannon and Sarai's picks? Or let them pop in and do their own?

We are really not in a hurry.

Hmmm. Votes?

Carolyn Crane said...

It's sort of fun to announce your own picks.

Kristie (J) said...

And after that brief interruption we are moving again.
'Tis OK Samantha *g* RL does have a way of intruding and taking us away from fun doesn't it?

Kristie (J) said...

I'd say not that big of a hurry - and it is fun to announce your own isn't it?

Carolyn Crane said...

Hey Kristie!

Okay, thanks for that second on my thinking. I feel like I am sitting on state secrets! But I don't want to just spill them when it's so quiet. Yes, let's let the gals announce their owns.

Samantha Kane said...

bev ~ I know! That choked me up. And SPOILER she doesn't love him! I mean, you now, not LOVE him. It breaks my heart! I can't write about it without an exclamation point! I will love him, and squeeze him, but I will call him Rhys and not George. He will forget all about that fairy princess.

CJ ~ My first pick, Doyle, is also from that series. I love the Merry Gentry series, but it is seriously sexin'. Not that I don't think this crowd can take it, ahem, but thought I should warn you, just in case.

And I vote to wait so they can give their own pick. I'm glad to hear no one was in a big hurry, (sorry Sarai and Tracy).

Tracy said...

I have no problem waiting at all so no worries. I'm not sure how long it will be though since Sarai has no internet at home...isn't that all weekend? Anyway, when I'm up, I'm up. *that's a phrase I heard my men say earlier*

I definitely have to read this Merry Gentry series - I hear a lot about it.

Tracy said...

OH! So I won this contest over at Patrice Michelle's Blog...just comment and you're in the running. Well she was blogging about RT and it was very interesting so I commented...didn't think anything about the contest really. It got the stuff in the mail. Well, I won some good stuff from her and then 2 great "signed" pics of Chris Winters..Mr. Romance 08. Veeerrry nice!

Christine said...

I'm back! What'd I miss?

Hello?

Tracy said...

hey baby! Welcome back!

Christine said...

Hey Tracy!! Whats doing?

OMG Between Qhuinn, V & Butch, I'm starting to talk like a Brother now. I swear at first its amusing ... and almost endearing. But after a while, I'm like 'Shut the f@#k up already!' Sheeeesh!

You must be anxious to claim your next dude, huh?

Tracy said...

Nobody says "shut the f&^$%k up" to you, true? Haha - couldn't resist!

I'm hanging with the kidlets..drinking a rum and coke and trying valiantly to get through my TBR challenge book. Let me tell you, it's a challenge!

Sarai said...

Well hello ladies I am back from volleyball with a jamed pinky finger and f*cking black eye and a slight limp. Stupid game...

Anywho my pick is Sterling "Harvard" Chase from Kiss of Crimson Lara Adrian. Man that guy had me from hello... seriously. Okay I am going to go lick my wounds talk to ya all tomorrow! Peace love and chicken wings

Tracy said...

Wow - of all the warriors in Adrian's books Sterling was the last one I thought would be chosen. IMO of course. But he has turned into a bad ass...hmmm.

Christine said...

Ooooooo! Nice pick, Sarai! You know he's getting his own book, right?

Christine said...

Chase's character is actually developing quite nicely in the series ... I think he's book is down the road a bit. Lara says some stuff's gotta happen to him first before his book. Well... she didn't use the word 'stuff', but yeah... shit's going down.

Feel better Sarai! Ice it baby.

Tracy said...

Sorry - just reread my last post. Didn't sound very nice. My apologies - I'll blame the rum.

Sterling's book will be good I think, but he does need a little work on his attitude, but then, don't they all! :)

Sarai...hope you're finger, your eye and your limp all feel better soon!

Shaymless Aymless said...

I really must create a Hero shelter to protect them from all you nefarious DIKs. So far my Super Secret Hero "shelter" is hiding and "protecting" the following:

* Hari (Tiger Eye by Marjorie M. Liu)
* Morgan Grant (Someone to Watch Over Me by Lisa Kleypas) - for Alice ^_^
* Julian of Macedon (Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon)
* Nick Gentry (Worth Any Price by Lisa Kleypas) - For Alice ^_^
* Daemon Sadi (Black Jewel Trilogy, by Anne Bishop)
* Rafe McCay (The Touch of Fire by Linda Howard) - for Alice ^_^
* Wren Tigarian (Unleash the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon)

Alice and I will be vigilantly guarding our Heroes from you! ^_~

Shannon said...

I am back and I am drunk! Wooo! Ladies, let this be a lesson: three glasses of wine on an empty stomach is a BAD idea. So super tipsy. Let's just say that we fine arts teachers know how to have a good party! (Oh, and all of our students' artwork looks fabulous hanging in the store windows of dowtown Chicago!)

Enough of that. Here is my pick:
I am going back to my super secret law enforcement agent men. This guy may be a bit obscure. I have been holding off on him since I don't think any of you are even considering him. The poor guy. He hasn't even had his own book yet. He really deserves one. Someone ought ti harrass Christina Skye! I mean really, he is smart, funny, a tech wizard, and hot (looks like Denzel Washington!) My man is Izzy Teague from Christina Skye's Code Name series.

Bridget Locke said...

Totally off topic (cuz I'm good at that), but Kristie, I just finished and blogged about Blue-Eyed Devil. Totally one of the best books EVER! And Hardy??? Totally redeemed himself. *sigh*

Okay, I'm done. I've got to go to bed soon. Stupid work in the morning. Hmph! Anyway, don't do anything too exciting while I'm away, okay? :)

Kristie (J) said...

OK - I had to head off to bed - while I had yesterday off *sigh* I'm making up for it by having to work today. Katie will have to be the hostest with the mostest for the rest of today's par-tay. I'll try and drop in as often as I can.
Shannon - I remember Izzy - has he had his own book yet? I kind of gave up on the Code books after 3.
Bridget - isn't BED wonderful? Very emotional!!

sula said...

omg, i cannot believe i am awake before 8 am on a Saturday!!! DBF had to go to work and I'm such a nice gf that I got up and made him a breakfast to take with him. awwww.

ok, so it's my turn to pick. I'll be right back with my decision. Not that anyone else is awake and actually cares if I hurry. lol.

Carolyn Crane said...

Aymless: I have that 'Worth Any Price' in my TBR pile - maybe I move it up!

Shannon: I wondered if we'd get a drunken visit from you! Glad the pictures looked good downtown. What fun! Your pick sounds really fun, too!

Sarai: You know I like your pick. There really is something so sexy about such a dedicated and love-smitten man. I totally get it!

Sula: I wonder who you will choose! And what a good GF you are. As you know, when you are on the island you won't be needing those skills at all, as the men will be making breakfast.

Shannon said...

I hate my dog. Really. My drunk ass fell into bed after 1am. Damn Dog woke me up at 7:30am. TODAY WAS MY DAY TO SLEEP IN!!!! grr!

Last night was completely worth it. All of us fine arts teachers get so wrapped up in our own schools and projects that we don't get to just hang out. The artwork was so inspiring. I have tons of ideas for next year!

Ok, back to the topic at hand: DIK! (Sorry for my tangent!)

Are we going straight into the final round or starting Monday? Was there a final decision on this?

heh, I wonder how CJ obtained that copy of Worth Any Price? hmmmm. I vote for a bump up the TBR list. ;-)

Breakfast made for me? served to me in bed, I hope. lol. Actually, I think my bf would do such a thing if he could. But he's not all that talented in the kitchen. That said, he washes dishes and mops floors and is a clean freak, so I cannot complain. Domestic skilz in other departments.

ok, so on to my pick. I feel as though I'm all over the map, picking from different time periods and sub genres. And one of the most unique stories I've read lately include not only excellent world building but a hero that is very attractive to me.

He is the leader of his people, which may make him the "alpha" but I think he's got the soul of a beta. While he'll fight to the death to protect those for whom he's responsible, he's also willing to think before he acts (well, most of the time). He knows how to use bargaining and negotiation and has a wickedly subtle sense of humor. He's not threatened by a strong woman and he's as sexy as hell. Witty, wise and wonderful...my sixth hero is also known as The Warlord.

Keir of the Cat from Warprize by Elizabeth Vaughan.

And for your viewing pleasure, I give you a mental image of my Warlord.

Carolyn Crane said...

Oh, Sula, I don't know Kier of the Cat, but after that mental image, I just might have to get to know him! My my. And I love your description.

I am hereby moving up WAP. I started Hunger like no other last night. Whew! Those first chapters roar in light a freight train! Of lust!

Oooh baby! That kitty can purr in my lap any day!

lisabea said...

I keep thinking Meerkat...No??

Samantha Kane said...

Aymless ~ Nick Gentry, mmmmm ... yep.

Shannon ~ I luv Izzy! He so deserves his own book.

lb ~ meerkat? What the heck are you drinking this early in the morning? And btw, my brain has been such a sieve lately that I forgot to mention that At Love's Command came out in print this week. Hooray! You can find it at the EC print store on their website. It will be at Amazon and other booksellers in about a month for anyone that's interested. Just an FYI.

sula ~ I feel your pain. I was up until 1:30 writing, and my baby girl crawled onto my stomach at 6:00am and started bouncing. ugh.

Christine said...

Alice: Nice list. Well... I think its nice. I don't know most of those dudes. Except Julian and Wren. Wren's one of my favorites, too. YUM. Julian's story was a bit on the silly side for me, but so very sweet.

Shannon: I'm impressed you made no typos in your comment given your state of sobriety! LOL

Sula: HE-LLO! Thanks for the mental image of Keir.

Samantha: Congratulations on your print release of AT LOVE'S COMMAND! Woo hooo!
*passes champagne* ... errr.... in mimosas! Its not yet noon here... ;)

Shannon said...

It is amazing that I had no typos, especially since I tend to have tons of them when I am sober! I think I was being VERY careful. :)

Bev(QB) said...

You know, I have to admit that it didn't occur to me to pick any of Sam's boys because I just couldn't imagine splitting them up. But DIK playdates? Perfect solution!

Congrats on the print release, Sam!

Oooh, must see if it's sold thru Amazon so I can leave a review! I'm trying to get better about remembering to post reviews over there.

Tracy said...

Good Morning! At least I think it's good, I haven't had coffee yet. I'll let you know! :)

Shannon - glad you had a good time at your event AND had no typos.

Sula - I haven't read that book either but yowza on your mental image - another goodie I'll have to look for!

Sam - congrats, congrats, congrats on your book in print - that's very cool. God I have so many authors and books I want to read! I think I may have to quit my job! lol

Tracy said...

I guess Thea will be around sooner or later here on the west coast. I have errands to run and a 6 year olds birthday party to attend - oh joy! :) I'll be out for quite a while but since I'm last pick I won't be holding anyone up.

Have a great day everyone!

KT Grant said...

I just went to 2 used books sales and for $15 bought 20 books!! YEEEE HAAAA...

LesleyW said...

Bummer, Keir was going to be my seventh pick.

Actually he was going to be my second, but kept getting bumped. Darn it this is what happens when you let your Warlord get bumped.

Thea said...

Ok I'm in, sorry for the delay! I see some bitches stole not only Han Solo, but Fox Mulder AND Duncan Reever too?! *shakes fist melodramatically*

Well. In that case. I am taking Roland Deschain from Stephen King's Dark Tower books!

little alys said...

CarolynJean- Worth Any Price is one of my favs. from Lisa Kleypas. He's no Derek Craven (no one really can top him), but definitely read it. He's adorable. *happy sigh*

Samantha- Nick's mine! Don't you take him!

Bridget- Stop tempting me with Blue-Eyed Devil! All these temptations! >_<

Christine- You should read those! Let me know which one and I send to you if I have those ^_^. Very good books.

Aymless- Hehehehe.

Bridget Locke said...

I'm here! Kind of. On break, so I won't get in trouble. *eye roll*

All righty...great choices so far. I loved Keir. I'm still hoping nobody takes my choice for #7. I do have a backup if necessary, but I'm totally crossing my fingers. *sigh*

KT Grant said...

Wasn't Nick the one who can go for hours?!?!
If so, we need Nick, someone must claim him for the good of the island.

Shaymless Aymless said...

Keir is soooooo yummy! *sigh dreamily)

Alice - Don't worry the HLO will rescue him. ;)

Shaymless Aymless said...

Whee... Look I was post 300... Does that include a prize?

little alys said...

Katie(babs)- Stay away from my Nick!

Amy- To the HLO! Must save Nick!

KT Grant said...

Aymless you get a pony!! Ask Lisa for hers. LOL
Ah poor Nick needs to be claimed me thinks...

Alice: The HLO will support you in your efforts! :D

Bridget Locke said...

*yawn* What'd I miss? Oh...tired.

I'm almost done reading Emma. It's a LONG book...which is funny since it's shorter than most books I read. It's just so...wordy! :P

KB, I am so jealous. That sounds like fun!

JenB said...

Are y'all always this quiet on Saturdays?

I just went book shopping and only ended up with three books. :( The first DANTE VALENTINE book by Lilith Saintcrow, GRIMSPACE by Ann Aguirre, and a yaoi manga called DESIRE. Do any of you read manga? I need some manga buddies.

KT Grant said...

JenB: Saturday seems to be recovery day. Hope you are feeling better! :D
Ah Grimspace is such a good read!
I haven't really jumped on the whole magna fun. :( I have way too many addictions as it is. LOL

JenB said...

I got hooked on manga a couple of months ago. I only like the dirty stuff though, the ones that come in a wrapper and have WARNING stickers on them. LOL

Ok, I have a question for the person that picked Rejar as their hero...do I need to read the first book, or can I start with Rejar?

Shaymless Aymless said...

I Loved Grimspace! It was really great!

You all are invited to join the HLO! :)

KT Grant said...

Knight of a Trillion Stars is the first book in the series and an amazing, sexin fun read that introduces Rejar. I have Knight but can't find Rejar anywhere. I need to re-read Rejar again. And Rejar, when he finds his mate.... hawter that hawt.

JenB said...

Alys--You and I have matching blog templates. We are pretty in pink. :)

Sarai said...

HULLO everyone I am back with only a slight bruise over left eye two swollen fingers on right hand and the limp disappeared until I went for a run...
My fault I shall suffer for days b/c of it.
Jen B: I am just getting into manga I have read Blood Alone Vl 1, Vampire Knight and Milleium Snow 1 & 2 digging them so far.
As far as Rejar no you don't have to read them in order she did a good job as stand alones... He is mention in at least 2 other books but his book is so HAWT
Have a great evening ladies I am off to relax

Kristie (J) said...

So - unless I missed something - the only one left to hear from is Tracy - then it's onto the final round.

Tracy said...

Hi again!

Ok KB I'm very jealous that you read the Toni Blake book, I've been looking forward to that one, I must say!

Thea - not familiar with that character but he must be hot if you want him on the island!

Tracy said...

Ok my 6th round pick is...."The Sadist...Daemon Sadi from the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop. He's hot, hot, hot yet so tender when he wants to be. But don't mess with him cuz he'll F*ck you up. They don't call him the Sadist for nothing! And he's mine!!!

Thanks Kristie and Katie for hosting this round!

Tracy said...

Hey girls are any of you HTML proficient or have men that are? I'm trying to change the template on my blog and am trying to put in one that I downloaded off of a different site than Blogger. It keeps giving me an error message but seriously, they might as well be speaking Swahili for all I know what it means. Anyway, if you can help then please email me. Thanks!

Bridget Locke said...

Tracy-This is going to sound really weird, but is the new background for blogger or for myspace? The reason I ask is when I got mine for my personal blog, I had chosen one that ended up being for myspace only. Yes, I'm a little slow. :D

I'm home for the weekend & don't have to go back to work until Tuesday at one! So, I'll be around for the whole last DIK pick. *sigh* I'm so sad it's almost over.

I'm thinking we've got to come up with something else that's just as fun. I'll have to think. :)

Bridget Locke said...

Oh & Katie(babs) and Kristie! You all rocked! Thanks for being awesome hostsesses. :)

Sarai said...

Thank you ladies for hosting another fabulous round of DIK I can't wait to see where we go from here!
I salute you both (Did I spell that right?)

Tracy said...

Hey Kaitlin...no it's definitely a template for blogger. I know what you mean though - some say for blogger but are for myspace.

Bridget Locke said...

Tracy-Sent you an email. :)

Bridget Locke said...

I'm not html proficient, but I had the same problem. Email me when you get the chance & I think I can help you figure it out. I'm obviously online now. :) Yeah, like that's not obvious. *sigh*

Shaymless Aymless said...

Hold on Daemon... help is on the way.

Alice - To the HLO, must plan rescues.

Tracy said...

Hold on Daemon??? What are you thinking woman. He is with his woman (ME!) and all the rum he can drink and he ain't going anywhere!

Ana said...

Thanks Kristie and Katie for being such fantastic hostess.

I can't wait for the next round, I have saved the best for last. The pick to put all picks to shame: a cunning and carefully crafted coup d'estat. Muwahahahahaha.

Carolyn Crane said...

What excellent choices! KB and Kristie(J), thanks for being such wonderful hostesses!

Shannon said...

I'm Back!!! Stoopid storms frakkin' up my pirated internet!

K & K- Thank you for another splendid round of DIK. Just one more fabulous round to go!

Shannon said...

If I suddenly disappear again you may all need to check my hut. It is possible I might die from the torture. TORTURE! I posted the next round of polls for the Brockmann Battle Royale. Oh, the pain! Jules vs. Sam? That is just cruel and unusual punishment. It just may kill me.

sula said...
