Yes the beginning of each new month can be an expensive time of the month. It certainly was for me this month. I didn't plan on doing this - it just seemed to happen. As if figuring out what book I felt like reading wasn't bad enough, I had to make it even more difficult! Below is the example of my insanity
Bewitched by Sandra Schwab.
I met her - what a nice person!
Dark Needs at Night's Edge
The insanity continues with this author. I have all her books, but I've only read one so far.
Dark Seduction by Kathleen Korbel
I've read a couple of books by her and really like them

Fire and Ice by Anne Stuart
This one was a given though I've still yet to finish Ice Storm
Last Wolf Standing by Ryannon Byrd
This one was a spec buy. And I like werewolves

Nameless by Debra Webb
I read good things about this one at AAR. Interestingly enough I found it in the Suspense section

Scions Insurrection by Patrice Michelle
I saw a review on this one and decided to give it a try - I think - I can't remember really why I got this one.
Solar Heat by Susan Kearney
I read one of hers I really liked and I tried reading another one and it was a DNF. The one I enjoyed was a SciFi Romance...and every author needs another chance.

Take Me If You Can by Karen Kendall
I've read a book or two by her before and quite enjoyed them. And I love RS these days.
Taken By The Viking by Michelle Styles
See - I said dumb titles wouldn't keep me from reading books I really want to. I may not like 'em - but I'll read 'em. And there just isn't enough Viking books.
~~~~~ETA~~~~~
Aaaccckkk!!!
I forgot one!! See - I have PILES of books all around the room and I'm cleaning/catalogueing and this one came to light.
Demon Night by Meljean Brook
I got this one 'cause - well - it's Meljean!!
Isn't she done yet????? you are all thinking. Nope - I tell you insanity rules!
Taming the Texan by Charlene Sands
Let's hear it for the Western!
Maverick Wild by Stacey Kayne
You know - I have this funny feeling I already have this one. Oops
The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter
Her Author Talk videos with Jill Monroe are priceless. And I loved Savor Me S.L.O.O.O.W.L.Y.
Traceless by Debra Webb
When I picked up Nameless, I saw this one beside it picked it up to read the storyline. Town bad boy jailed for crime he didn't commit. Was there any question this one wouldn't go in the pile???
And be sure to come back later. Katie and I have something up our collective sleeves!!
With that awesome selection, I'd have no trouble with what book to read next! :)
Wow! You sure have your priorities straight, woman! What an awesome way to start the month.
Want to adopt me?
Begin with Kresely Cole! Hot ghost sex can't be beat! LOL
AL I will adopt you and you can sleep with my ever growing book pile.
Katie: I decided to go with Faceless. I love that storyline and my last read with it - Unlawful Contact - proved to be a fiver!
AL: I'd love to adopt so many of you - OK not adopt because that would mean I'd have to take care of you and raise you properly and I've been there done that, very proud of my kids - but not gonna do it again *g*. But I'd love to have so many come and stay with me. My 'library' needs so much work done on it! I've gotten behind with so many books upstairs now that need to go down to the library, cataloguing, alphabetizing etc. My reward for the help would be allowing all helpers to read whatever books on the shelves strike their fancy. I have so many now, it's expanding to the other room!!!
j.kaye: Hello!!!! And welcome to our little place on the web!! It is a rather nice haul isn't it? *g*. Which one would be your choice? Although I made an initial choice - after that I'll be faced with another one - which one next??
OOOOH! Can you read all of them at once? What deliciousness!
I like the looks of that Traceless. And maybe it's my current mood, but I might go for TAKEN BY A VIKING right off.
kristie(j), I'm the perfect temprorary daughter: I'm all brought up (the properly part is open for discussion, seyz me mum), my mother was a librarian until she retired just a few years ago, and I'm rather anal about organization.
See?
Katie(babs), how do you manage to make something so pure sound so dirty? "You can sleep with my ever growing book pile" *shaking head*
:wink:
AL: It is all Kristie fault. She made me into the lady I am.
Just wait and see what we post in a few. Your view of us both will change forever, or maybe just me! :D
Oh yes Kristie, you must read Demon Night! Ethan is major swoonworthy.
DEMON NIGHT is a guaranteed hit.
I'll be reading DARK NEEDS soon myself.
Can't wait to hear what you think of all of these. I have had my eye on SOLAR HEAT for a while. Read that one first! :) So you can tell me if I should buy it! ;)
Wait - you question which one to read first??? After we went to fisticuffs over Ethan McCabe??? DEMON NIGHT, all the way. You never have to worry about being unsatisfied with MJB. :)
I confess I bought at least 30 books in the last two weeks and borrowed another 10 from my critique partner. (trying to fill the hole in my heart with romance love.) It's terribly difficult to decide which to read first. I feel your pain. I decided on C.L. Wilson's Lord of the Fading Lands since it got such good reviews. So far I haven't been disappointed!
mmm ... I see what you mean by insanity. But it sure is an impressive pile, and I'm trying hard to picture the additional shelves you'll be building soon. :)
I have read a few of these...Dark Needs - fab. Last Wolf Standing was eh. Didn't hate it and will read the next two, but didn't love it either. Scions:Insurrection....I really liked this one....did you read Scions: Resurrection? Might make more sense if you do. Reading The Darkest night at the moment. Interesting so far.
