I'd hoped those stories about Paul Newman being ill were false.
We just lost an icon.

I love books.
I love to read books.
Best of all I love to read books that strike
my fancy.
So alas, I don’t accept books for review. But thanks for thinking of me!!

RIP~
He was a gorgeous man, wonderful actor, and great human being.
Great Blog! The reviews are great without giving away the whole plot.
I too am so said at Paul Newman's passing. At one time he was the face I put on a lot of my romantic book heroes! I actually met him once when he bought a cup of coffee at the restaurant I worked at. His eyes really are that blue!
Thanks!

Marie: Some things just hit harder than others and when I saw that Paul Newman had died it hit me. I've seen so many of his movies over the years.
Cherie2628: Yes he was! Talented and unassuming and married to the same woman for over 50 years.
Memejain: Thanks! We both try and not give away too much in order to ruin it for those who are thinking of reading any of them.
That must have been something meeting him in person!! He made so many wonderful movies. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid is still one of my favourites all these years later. He seemed to have such a twinkle in his blue eyes didn't he?
Paul Newman was not only a distinguished man he was a good person and had contributed in so many ways of his life. He will surely be missed! I found it touching what his good friend Robert Redford had to say about him.
