Weekend - Pictures

Digital Cameras - Ya gotta love instant gratification.

I finally figured out how to get the camera working again. I bought one of those port things that allows you to add more ports and it turned out to be as simple as plugging it in. So here are just a few of the pictures. Hopefully when you click on them, the detail is better. But not to worry. Both Nath and Ames have pictures too. I think Nath even has a movie :-)

This first one is all the knights coming in. (there's "our" knight in the second row - all dressed in......red. As you can see - he is waving directly to Ames, Nath and myself heh heh.

This second one is "our" knight - the red knight.

This next one is during the skills part

This one is all the squires fighting to protect a downed knight.

And finally "our" red knight rides to the king - victorious and ready to claim the hand of the fair princess

And here are some pictures of some of my haul. Nath stood on a chair to take some of the pictures *g*. You can see I was still under the influence of the Medieval Times as quite a few there are medieval romances.

More of the weekend to follow. And there are lot's more pics. And a complete inventory of all book purchases.

'til later

OMG that place is so cool. I think they have something similar to that in Vegas at one of the hotels. I want to go there. Fun looking at all your books too!

Renee, Excaliber hotel has a Medieval Knights show. I'm pretty sure it's still there.

Kristie, I'm with Lori and am loving all the pictures. Do you mean there's more books? You have quite a haul there.

I love jousting shows.

There was an equestrian clown (a guy who rode horses, not a horse himself) I worked with at the circus who was part of teh original company of Hanlon Lees Action Theatre, a company of jousters, swordfighters, and movie stuntmen. http://www.hanlon-lees.com/

Taso, the guy I knew in the circus, worked in Mask of Zorro and in the first Pirates of the Caribbean. The entire company shows up in various "runaway horses" scenes in movies. Kind of cool, actually.

I'm so glad you had a fun trip.

I think I need to take my kids to a Medieval Knights show. Yes. I think I do.

Lori: A great time was had *g* I hope Nath and Ames had as much fun as I did.

Renee: It is pretty fun. And for those who like reading medievals......

Rosie: Those are just the books I got first time around. I picked up 4 more after dinner!!!

Ag: Yep - medieval romances are one of my faves too. And now I have quite a few of them!

Mailyn: Well - it wasn't me :-( There was no kissing - although there was flower throwing. Sadly he didn't throw them our way.

Suisan: Yes - I think you do too. There were quite a few kids there and I'm sure they enjoyed it. I checked out the link and it seems to be the same kind of thing.

DC: I've heard good things about Bad Boy and the price was hard to beat for a trade size! I have a couple of Sylvia Day books now. I really do need to read them!

Nath: I will be needing instructions :) I have some great ones of you and Ames to send. I didn't get any of Cindy though :( I'm glad you're sending me them.

Mollie: It was EVER so much fun. It's hard to say what the best part was - but for a warm and fuzzy answer (and a true one) it was meeting Nath and Ames and seeing Cindy again.

WOW that was some exciting picures with knights! You've done good job with the pictures of both the knight and the books.

Am so ever jealous you got all that books. Even more jealous that you are reading Darkness Reborn.. ;)

Thanks for sharing the pictures! It sure sound like you had wonderful time :)

Cindy: I don't know the name of the store - we went to so many. I think it was after you left but it was a store that sold new books that were older at half price. I got a few there including the Alison Kent and Sylbia Day books.

Julia: Nath sent me the pictures her and (I think) Ames took. And movies! They are fantastic and make my pictures look very amateurish. When she gets them posted, you'll have to check them out. They're incredible!!

Rowena: We did have a wonderful time!! I've been to MT before, but I could go back again and again. It's always a great show. And I'd love to be able to meet so many more bloggers. What we need is a bloggers convention or something :)

C2: There were some mighty fine knights! There were some that were even finer than ours - but of course we had to cheer red

I love those MT times pictures. Nath let me watch some video on her cam of the knights fighting. It looked really neat.
