Hi, Kristie! I'm sorry I've been AWOL. I did read your lovely love story and just wanted to (((()))). :)

If I can make a suggestion, the best version of Pride & Prejudice (in my humble opinion) is the latest version with Keira Knightley as the lovely Lizzie. I had heart palpitations the first time I saw it and WOW is Matthew MacFadyen hot as Mr. Darcy. Yummy!

Hope you have a great weekend! *wave*

You're like an encyclopedia of romance reading--you've read nearly everything!

On the classics--Jane Eyre is a bit dense imo. It is a beautiful, classic story, but it's not a particularly easy read.

But P&P is excellent! You should definitely read that one. And the Keira Knightley version of the movie is very good. Might get you in the mood to read the book. :)

Hey Kaitlin - thank you. I'm glad I told it. It really helped a lot - along with all the wonderful comments. He's special.
And I do plan on watching the Keira Knightley version very soon.

Jennie & Marg - I have indeed read many books *grin* And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Many of my favourites didn't even make it into the top 100 list, although many did. I should post my own sometime.

Kristie, I was just thinking that we should start a top 20 meme for romance books. That way we can see what other books our pals have loved and find new places to explore. Maybe even limit it to one book an author. Hmmm, 20 favourite books by 20 different authors. I like.

Cindy - I like too!! It's a great way to get new rec's!!! And 20 is much easier to think of than 100 :)

Cindy - how about 25. I got 20 and I need to add at least 5 more!
