A Week From Today...

IS THE START OF RWA!!

The butterflies in my stomach are in full flutter mode now.

Why are we so excited?? Here is a recap:

Romance Writers of America’s 28 th Annual National Conference in San Francisco

Every year, writers and industry professionals come from all over the world to attend Romance Writers of America’s Annual National Conference. The Annual Conference is a four-day event filled with educational workshops, career enhancement, and community involvement.

At the Conference, career-focused romance writers can anticipate:

  • Education and information,
  • Networking with fellow writers,
  • Interaction with editors, agents, publishers, booksellers, and other romance publishing industry professionals.
More importantly, flip-flips or penny loafers? Jeans or skirts?
How many workshops can I fit in?

And right now it is a sunny 54 degrees by the bay! :D

Since I have a brother that lives and works in SF I've been there more than a few times. I have to say no matter what time of the year, it's the most difficult climate to pack for. You just never know with SF. I can say this for sure. Bring a jacket/wrap/or sweater for evenings and early mornings. With the fog and damp I can almost guarantee you'll need it.

YAY! I'm going to bring some cute sun dresses just in case, but will most likely wear sweaters and jeans the whole week. I hate being cold.

Wow 58 degrees sounds awesome to me **Kim who is enduring the 14th day of 100+ degree temps**

I was hoping Dolly would turn a little north to give us some relief....but no. :(

With SF you never really know what the weather is going to be like :o) It hasn’t really been all that hot here in the Bay Area for the last few days. I would recommend a sweater for the morning and for at night. If it’s a nice day you should be ok in the afternoon.
