Only back briefly but thanks once again to Cindy S *sigh*

(while Nancy gets ready - she's more of a girly girl than me and takes much longer - why she's putting on make-up and stuff when she knows I'm going to make her sweat by helping me clean out the back bedroom I don't know - but it gives me a bit extra time)
Cindy just had to do it. She just had to mention buy 3 get one free at Chapters. I know Nath mentioned it, but I kind of forgot. But Cindy couldn't not remind us.
So of course I had to go for it. And of course I couldn't let it rest at buy 3 get one free. I had to buy 6 get 2 free.
My latest purchases:

Dead to Me by Anton Strout
Katies been saying how good this one is and her review sounded intriguing. So I went outside my box for this book.

The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter
Yep, I know a lot of you are envious that I have this one. For some reason it was on the shelves early. Now all I need to do is start reading this series. I have all of them - just need to read them.

Lessons from a Courtesan by Jenna Petersen.
I got this one after reading her interview at Ciara's blog. I've never tried any of this authors' books before

Tall Tales and Wedding Veils by Jane Graves
I've loved just about all this author's books save one and last time I looked it wasn't on the shelf. This time it was!!

In Twilight's Shadow by Patti O'Shea
I looked for this one last time and couldn't find it even though the store said they had it in. I looked again this time again, didn't see it in the romance section but I found it in the general books shelves

Wild for Him by Janelle Denison
This one was a bit of a gamble. Her last one was a DNF for me but I liked the previous books. So I figured it was only fair to give her another chance.

Never Say Never by Geralyn Dawson.
It's been years since I've read her books. I used to like them but then the Wedding books got to be a bit too much so I kind of stopped. But this one is a RS so I wanted to give it a try.

The Loner by Geralyn Dawson
A Western, not one of her Wedding Series and it was time I tried her again. I've read good buzz on her lately so wanted to get back into the swimming pool

Thanks for the shout out! You'll have to let me know how Lessons from a Courtesan is. I enjoyed Jenna's lady spy series. She is a very sweet lady.

Hehe. I took advantage of that sale last week myself. I bought Demon Moon, Magic Burns, Duke of Shadows and Spymaster's Lady. And I'm already combing my wish list, trying to see if I can find 4 other books I want that would all be available at the same store. For instance, I wanted Night Keepers but it wasn't available anywhere; same for Jamie Craig's Touching Silver- actually, that one hasn't been released yet, but I know my local Chapters enough to know there's not a snowball's chance in hell they are going to have it in store, ever. I'm probably going to go back to the store for more anyway. The only reason I didn't buy 8 the last time is that I had found 3 of the books on my list in used books stores hours before.

Yay!! Glad I could help ;)

I also had the Dawson book in my hand but I wasn't sure. I also couldn't find Patti o'Shea on the shelf.

I didn't go in with a list which makes it more fun because you end up looking through all the books. That's how you find the gems ;)

Cindy: Oddly enough I couldn't find the O'Shea book in the romance section. Since I did advance scouting *grin* I knew they had it, so I was a bit bewildered and on the verge of getting a wee bit annoyed. Then I decided I'd check the general section, and there it was, with it's little book arms towards me, pleading with me to pick it up and take it home to it's first written sibling. How could I refuse?

MaryM: hello there! And welcome! If you're looking for more, you should check out the July releases that you are wanting! Some might be early, I know Darkest Pleasure was early. That's one of the things I've noticed about Chapters, they often have the next months books on the shelves early! And isn't if funny - our reaction to finding books in UBS? On the one hand, we are delighted at getting a Squeal of a Deal - on the other, it messes up our plans! I'm not sure how long the deal lasts, but long enough I hope that I can pick up some July issues.

Nath: I saw that! I think in your case, you were looking for July releases that hadn't come out yet :( Hopefully they will be in while the deal is still on!

Jenna: thank You for dropping by! I'm always looking for new authors to try and I'm delighted to give your books a go.

Ciara: you are most welcome! I love reading author interviews on blogs and I'm more than willing to spread the word.

Tracy: I did get some good looking ones didn't I?

Kristie, the thing is, it says that they have it in-store!!! That's why I was looking for them! I say that there's some favoritism going on, because I did see the new Eloisa James on the table. Argh!

kristie, I think the sale is on until June 30th. That's what the coupon in my package this morning said (package for all the titles that WEREN'T available in store the last time, like Night Keepers, or those that are too expensive in store like TPB... Lol).

Mary M - that is one Frekin Awesome Haul. You have hours of DELICIOUS book loving ahead of you!

I am sure looking forward to it, Ciara! I made a research project about ancient maya religion when I was in high School, I thought their mythology was so captivating. And I'm curious to see if Ward had any influence of Jessica Andersen's style. :)
