DESCRIPTION:"For centuries Mira has been a nightwalker--an unstoppable enforcer for a mysterious organization that manipulates earth-shaking events from the darkest shadows. But elemental mastery over fire sets her apart from others of her night-prowling breed...and may be all that prevents her doom.
The foe she now faces is human: the vampire hunter called Danaus, who has already destroyed so many undead. For Mira, the time has come to hunt...or be hunted.
But in a dimension just beyond the world's boundaries, a banished race stirs dangerously, hungry for power, for domination, for vengeance. Already a protective seal has been breached: already blood flows like a river through the world's great cities.
And only the collaboration of two sworn enemies can save humankind...and its feral brethren."
This new series looks to be an excellent new addition to the Fantasy Genre! I welcome Jocelynn and wish her the best! And yet another book I will be adding to my monster TBR pile! *G*

This does sound cool. Hunt or be hunted!
Well if say someone like barby Rehv or angelic Michael was doing the hunting, I wouldn't mind be the hunted!
Well that sucks monkey balls. Money is too tight to add another... *sigh* Katie what are you doing to me????
LOL
I met Jocelynn at the Lori Foster event and she was super excited and super nervous for her first release. I hope it's incredibly successful for her. I can't wait to read it!
ooooh - sounds really good. I'm liking the hunt or be hunted thing too.
Barby Rehv? You have a serious problem my child.
I think my TBR pile is going to be growing again :o)
What a nice announcement post, Kate! :)
I've been keeping tabs on Jocelynn and her upcoming series for a few months now. What originally brought this debut author and her upcoming UF series to my attention was the announcement back in January over an upcoming anthology featuring Jocelynn Drake along with Kim Harrison, Jeanniene Frost, Melissa Marr, and Vicki Pettersson! *swoon* An urban fantasy anthology dream, don't you think? :)
