Headed out for the country

Lisa's car is sick and needs repairs so instead of working on the bookshelves this weekend, I'm headed out to her place momentarily.
Hopefully I'll get some reading done. Books were of course the first thing I pack and I think I have eight of them in my bag. Eight for an overnight visit - yea, that should be enough I hope. You know you need to take spares just in case the first few don't grab you!
I have a couple of paranormals, a couple of westerns, a RS or two and a historical and a medieval. If one doesn't work, the next one should.

'til later

Kristie, my husband gives me a hard time every time we travel because he teases me that I pack more books than clothes. But you just never know what you are going to be in the mood for are you?

I'm glad you are getting out. I hope Sunday's weather is great out your way. We're heating the pool up so that we can get in one last time! Hopefully the weather gods will look favourably down upon us ;)

Rosie: That's what I tried telling my sister when she noticed how many books I brought with me for an overnight visit!! You just don't know until you start to read which one is going to strike your fancy! That's why you need so many!

Ames: I got a book and a half read - so that's pretty good :)

Bookwormom: She's taking it in tomorrow to have it looked after. And hard as it was not to finish the book room *sigh* it's the brakes on her car that need work so she really needs to drive it as little as possible until they are fixed - and it did give me time to read.

Cindy: It turned out to be pretty nice here. I hope it did in your neck of the woods too.
