And man was I some upset!!!! No, no not because he won!!! I finally made up my mind after last night that I liked him the best.
One of the biggest beefs I have about living in Canada is the Canadian channels "take over" the American channels if programs are running at the same time. This especially bothers me at Super Bowl time. We miss all those cute commercials. On tonights episode - hello! - the Finale! Global took it over and showed a different episode or something for the first half hour. Then there was a commercial and when it went back to the program, it was in the middle of Lukas song and Magni was gone!! We here in Canada missed the whole first half of the show!!!!

'til later

NOOOO!!! I'm out here on the West Coast and it doesn't come on yet for another half-hour ... but I love spoilers, so you didn't wreck anything for me! I *so* wanted Magni to win, but last night's comment by icky Tommy pretty much guaranteed a low-vote for my Iceman. Sigh.

Oh well, back to reading ... ;)

I'm sooooo thrilled that he won... he's been my favorite from the very first airing. I LOVE IT!

Bonz: Hopefully Global will have corrected their error by the time it airs in your neck of the woods. We didn't even get to see Magni leave :-( And I really liked him too!

Anne: I liked all of the final 6. But I did have a bit of a soft spot for Lukas. He is just so....odd. And note I didn't mention he's the second Canadian to win Rock Star - guess we have good singers here - oops I guess I just did, didn't I?

Magni was just voted off and he got a chance to say his farewells, so obviously Global got their act together! Now it's on to continued global domination by the Canadians ... no pun intended ... LOL!

Rock on, all!

Bonz: Luckily we can get the channels on here later if we willing to wait that long. I figured it would start at midnight *sigh* so I missed the first 15 minutes and thus I still missed Magni leaving- but I'm watching the rest - and yea - Global got their act together for those on the western side of the country :)

I was soooo disappointed, but I had a feeling they would pick him. ICK. Sooo not my fave. But INXS didn't pick my Marty last year either. *pouting*

I watched the last few minutes because I didn't follow the show - I get confused when too many people are in a group and I have to pick one. Anyways, I thought they were all phenomenal and they all ended with real rock songs.

Lukas looked like he had the attitude though. I'm wondering why they allow women on the show because I always feel like an all male band just won't pick a woman.

Most women singers are solo - okay we have that Gwen Stefani but she started with the group long before they were famous. Any other groups where the woman is front and center and not just another member of the band (I would say Evervesance (sp) but she has a male singer with her and the Black Eyed Peas but again, she's just part of the group and not the lead.)

I'm a Toby fan so I was disappointed. But at least they didn't pick Dilana.

I didn't watch this show, BUT I'm sorry you missed the first half of the show...maybe you can catch it somewhere online or something, gosh that sucks!

Oh cripes, doesn't that just piss you off? I really hate Global and how they take over the network channels. CTV does it as well, takes over the stations.

I remember when Friends had their series finale there was supposed to be some wicked commercials lined up (that company's paid millions of dollars for 15 seconds of) and I missed them all.

Oh! Was never a big fan of Lukas...I had hoped that Ryan would win but when he was shown the door, I was rooting for Magni...and when he was shown the door, I didn't know what to think. Noone's effing left to cheer for!
