On a whole different topic there is a story going on in the city I live in about a guy who spent time in prison for having unprotected sex with women knowing he was HIV positive. After he got out he did it again and has again been charged with aggravated assault. AND RELEASED ON BAIL!!! WTF???? Something is seriously wrong with our court system here! Apparently it’s come out in previous articles there has been more than one woman the second time around. Thank goodness they posted his picture in the paper in earlier articles so we can all see this – well I don’t have a nasty enough word.
Should this slimy piece of shit go back to jail? Absolutely!! And before he does they should whack it off so he can’t use it again.
At the same time though, a part of me wonders what the hell women are thinking. Granted I’ve been married over 30 years now and have always trusted my husband implicitly, but why in these times of rampant STD’s and AIDS would a woman risk her health and her very life having unprotected sex with someone they don’t know that well.
While I totally sympathize I just don’t get it.
‘til later

Hey Kristie, the same thing happened here in the 'Peg earlier this year. Over 40 woman came forward and said they'd had unprotected sex with this man. Elch. And some girls as young as twelve came forward as well.
That's really pathetic of the court system, Kristie. Then again, U.S. courts haven't done much better, so I ought not point fingers I guess.
I think young women need to be much more proactive about their sexual health. I'd be very scared if I was single nowadays.
12 year olds having sex is just..gross.
I think there was a similar case here in New Zealand too. I can't believe that there are people out there who have unprotected sex with relative strangers?
I wonder if it's because that generation missed the huge AIDs/HIV and STD campaigns of the 80s and early 90s? I know when I was a teenager in the early 90s, there was graphic tv ads as well as print ads that scared the beejeebies out of me LOL. (I tell you, show a 14 year old girl a clamydia infected penis and she'll not want to have sex for a few years LOL).
I kind of missed the whole AIDS thing myself when I was young. Since I've been married over 30 years, it wasn't even a consideration when I was dating oh so many years ago. But I'm certainly aware of the risks facing everyone now. But I don't know - aren't the risks as emphasized out there these days as much as they were a few years ago? I think I've read that the fastest growing incidence of AIDS and HIV is among young women.
