Which cover do you like best?

Just out of curiosity and really I should be reading instead 'cause I'm really liking the book I'm reading, but here's one I'm looking forward too, with two different covers.

Cover 1

Cover 2

Me - I like the first one better. I wonder which one it will be?

And remember - it's guess that book time again.

'til later

I like the first one ~ can't say I'm very appealed to the 2nd one at all.

It's pretty reddish isn't it *g*. And besides the shallow side of me - one that is quite large really - thinks the guy in Number 1 is cuter.

....how sad. I didn't even look at the men. Sheesh. No wonder I'm single.

They're both by the same cover artist. Scary, no? ;-) ~Linnea, who has to deal with changing covers and diminishing promo budgets from same...

Linnea: Wow! Thanks for dropping in. So do you know which one it will be? I got the first one from the Chapters web site and I scooped the second one from your site (hope you don't mind. I really am looking forward to it since I adored both G'G and Games of Command and I have Finders Keepers and Accidental Goddess just waiting TBR)

I'm leaning towards the first one, but the second one is good, too!

I like the first one better as well :D nice and the main characters aren't that prominent.

Gotta say I like the first cover better. The second cover screams "sci-fi cover" to me, and I've just never been a big fan of sci-fi covers. But I'm just showing my personal preference underpants again.

It's my understanding from Linnea's yahoo group (which I'm a member of because I've been a total fangirrrl of hers forever), the cover is the blue one. The second cover is the original.

And I have an ARC of this book that I'm going to read just as soon as I can concentrate for more than 5 seconds again. Because did I mention my total fangirrl love of Linnea (which she's well aware of since I gush over her every time we meet)? I gift her books quite often because I adore them.

Rosario: They both are nice aren't they? But I also like the more faded look of the first one (in addition to the colour and the author's name in bigger print and the better looking hero) (I'm working from bottom up here*g*)
Nath: As I said to Dev - because I can be quite shallow - another reason I like No 1 is I like purple and blue better than red. Besides guy no. 1 being hotter.

Wendy: I shouldn't read this at work. I barked in laughter over the underpants thing. See - there's history with that word. My sisters always use the word underpants when describing that particular article of clothing and I always correct them and say underwear or panties. Then for 3 women all in - well, let's say none of us will ever see 45 again, we get in the stupidest, silliest philosophical argument regarding underpants vs underwear. They say what do you wear under pants? Under pants right? But then I come back with 'ah, but what if you are wearing a dress?? Answer that one!'
But I digress *snort*. I don't mind the second one - but I like the first one better.

Angie: I'm a newly converted fangirl and can I say lucky you getting an ARC!!!! Did you get a chance to see her in Dallas? I did, but only at a signing where I'm sure I was one of many. But I did get her to sign a copy of GG for me.
And I'm glad it's the blue - since I like it better and her name is more prominent that way *g*

The first one seems to be the cover of preference doesn't it?

And Angie: *g* If we're talking of regifting.................

I just saw these at the Alien Romances blog. I like cover 1, the blue one better. The original is not awful, I'm just not a fan of full on face covers, it gives such a strong impression of the characters. I find that if I think the cover people are fugly, it's hard to get over it in my imagining of them. I prefer something being left to the imagination.
