IT BE FOUND!!!!

granny dance

Finally!!!! Yes people, out of the thousands of books I have - in every room of the house, the one book I most wanted to find was the one I couldn't. But last night just before heading for bed I turned off the living room light and noticed a very small box of books under the end table. I thought 'hmmm, I wonder???' But as it was late and I'm on the earlier shift, thought I'd check it out this morning. It was the one place I don't remember looking. I just checked - and low and behold there it was - just waiting for mama to find it.

Yes - I'm talking about......

It's funny how the book you can't find is the one you want to read the most and then when you find it...... it's a WONDERFUL feeling

isn't that how it always happens... glad you found the one you were looking for! Now my curiosity has been peaked and I need to find out why this book has had you searching high and low.

Heather - *g* it's because this is part of a Western series - the Rock Creek Six - loosely based on The Magnificent Seven - only ROMANCE!! I kind of sort of started it by reading the last book in the series - LOVED IT - and wanted to read them in order - finishing with a reread of Cash. But I was stymied when I found them all - except this one. I wanted to keep reading the series - in order - but this one is book #2. And I looked high and low for it - going against my own personal policy of 'not really looking for something - that way it really isn't lost and it will be found when it's time'.

Thank the good Lord! Now drop everything and read the rest of the series :)

Yeah! Looking forward to that review cause now I'm wondering what's so special about Sullivan. :)

KristieJ, it found YOU! LOL! So glad you found that pesky Sullivan. Can't wait to read your review now.

I hate it when books go into the black hole of books and then puff just seem to reappear out of nowhere... I'm convinced mine are keeping lost socks company somewhere.

LOL Wendy - I figured that would make you happy!! I've already started it and plan to pass on The Bachelor (thank heavens - I say every week I am NOT going to watch the Bachelor!! I am NOT going to watch it!!)and just read, read, read!!

Leslie: I'll be sure to do one - and then one for the rest of the series :-)

Hilica: Books and socks - at times it seems they have a kinship doesn't it?? I was SO HAPPY when I found it this morning.

Liza: it's a good feeling isn't it??? That stress level goes way down and the birds seem to sing just a little bit more happily. I didn't think I'd find this one and was OH SO CLOSE to ordering another copy. But the cheap me took over and said no. For once I'm glad I listened to the cheap me!

Nath: *laughing* Oh so was I!! I spent a couple of hours one day looking for it - getting more and more frustrated by the minute. I finally had to stop when I wanted to kick the cats!! I didn't kick them of course - but that's how irritated I was getting. Now they are safe.

Orannia: I'm over half way done now and so far so very good!! I'm lovin' it.

Mary: I think all us readers have had this experience at least once - KNOWING we had a book we were DYING to read but unable to find it in the mountain.

Oh yay! I'm currently missing a Tessa Dare that I was halfway through, and I MIGHT just have to break down and buy it twice. Auughh!
