Speechless

On rare occasions I am beyond words. Such was the case the other day. Chapters sent me Blue Eyed Devil early. I just held it and fondled it for a while - I think many of you know that feeling. Then I eventually got around to opening it. That was when I was rendered mute.

After I got myself together, I tried scanning - this is the best I could do without doing damage to the book.

OMG - You've been immortalized! Immortalized in a shiny, pretty, hard cover book! OK, not that paperbacks aren't nice and all, but honestly nothing gets my rocks off more than a shiny, hard cover book (it's a librarian thing). And there you are! So how many copies are you going to buy? LOL

Wow! How cool is that? Doesn't that just make you feel wonderful when someone acknowledges you, even over something so simple? I know that was something that meant so much to you & obviously it meant something to her too. You lucky lady you. :)

To Everyone: I'm still speechless over this!
For me the lunch we had with her in Dallas was one of those rare moments in life you just want to freeze and store away to be pulled out at will whenever you're feeling down - which is what I do. And for Lisa to acknowledge this too - well - speechless.
