I love books.
I love to read books.
Best of all I love to read books that strike
my fancy.
So alas, I don’t accept books for review. But thanks for thinking of me!!

I loved your article. As I was reading along, I was nodding my head thinking about Naked in Death, and how I just couldn't get into to it! I had to laugh when I saw that that was the one book you pointed out that you said you stuck with and it is now so worth it! I will have to try it again... maybe when there is not so much going on!
As far as all of those books... that is a tough one! If they are out of sight, then are they out of mind? I know they would be with me. If you find a good idea, please, please, please share it with me!!!
I just commented but like usual, I'm probably a day late. Loved your column though and can so relate.
Course there were two reasons to buy a new house - a workshop for Bob and enough room for my books. Noble reasons I think ;)

Kristie: Thank you! I have two empty bedrooms as well as the 'library' downstairs so I don't think I'll run out of room for a while. If I do - I'll just empty my closet of clothes *g* cause I really don't think I can part with them - it's that just in case thing. And someday - when the mood touches you - maybe not even for a year or more - you'll read enough praise that your curiosity will get you and you'll be tempted to try it again. And then it will work! And by that time there might be 30 or more in the series :)
Cindy: it really is impossible to get rid of books we know we're gonna like - even if we aren't in the mood at the time isn't it?
