This one is for romance readers everywhere *g*
(just picture all the back-up singers as vampires and it makes it pretty current)
And if you can, you have to watch until the cowboy dressed all in white riding a white horse shows up. I laughed 'til I hurt at that point.

LMAO
oh kristie how i love you. Sadly i know that entire song, we sang it in chorus when i was in highschool along with a bunch of other songs from footloose. Fun times. :)
I love this one! It's currently on my WIP soundtrack ... I do wish I could banish the image of the cowboy in white from my head though. And those dresses! LOL!
Meljean: I do really like the song although I'd never seen the video. I thought it was pretty campy up until the guy on the white horse showed up. After that I couldn't stop laughing. When he shot the silver gun with the little bang - that's when the stomach started hurting from the laughing! And then the singers in their white vampire dresses! It was jolly good fun watching it I tell you.
Samantha: I finally had to stop from the stomach hurting and the ears hurting from the tinny sound of all the songs coming out of my cheap speakers. It was great fun looking up all those oldies but goodies though.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Hey! Footloose was one of the first "dates" I had with Todd. :o)
LOL - as I said - I must have lived in a cave. I've never seen Footloose. I really must fix that!!
You haven't seen Footloose?? Shame on you! ;-)
Also, there is more recent version of this song that was on the Shrek 2 soundtrack (I prefer it, I must say). Less campy, more techno or something. The group is Frou Frou (nope, didn't make that up!). :o)
C2: I know!!! There is a severe shortage in my pop culture history. I've no idea why I've missed so much of it. I know the music, but not the movies.
Kristie, you have to watch Footloose. It was a fantastic movie!! I remember it was also the theme song for an 80's detective show with Jennifer O'Neill and Jon somebody (who died playing around with a gun on-set). He was soooo cute!
I still know every word to that song. *shaking head* My hubby makes such fun of me. But, hey, I can be a cool heavy metal chick and still know all the 70's and 80's pop songs, too *g*
We had the Footloose soundtrack and my super cool parents would put it on when were on long roadtrips - I just flat out love this song! I also like the dresses - so there!
CindyS
LOL!! I totally forgot about that video. I love the neon whips, they crack me up. I felt like yelling "High-o Silver, away"
