In order to spare the damage that may have happened to the retinas in anyones eye's in case you've checked some of Bam's cover snarks lately, and to prove that the covers of ebooks can indeed be beautiful, here are a few I found that I thought were gorgeous!!
Since I buy a number of books based on covers (and don't buy a lot based on covers) I can see me getting any one of these ones.
See - they don't have to be those frightful covers that are so dreadful yet hilarious to look at that a certain ebook publisher is infamous for!

very lovely. Thanks. Because the poser ones are really frightening...
It tis amazing what using actual photographs can do for cover art.
Is it just me or does the woman on the Lonesome Bride cover look like Jessica Simpson?
She does a bit doesn't she? And I thought the model on After the Storm has a very Angelina Jolie look about her.
you beat me to it. I actually found a few that were pretty gosh darn nice and was going to post this week. I agree, a little taste goes a long way.
the liquid silver covers seem to be particularly good. I also tend to like the ones from loose id as well.
Real people do wonders for the e-Book covers. It's the fake people that are frightening!
These are nice ~ all of the ones I've seen so far look like badly drawn robots. Or maybe SIMS impersonators?

well holy shit - there are some nice ones! Alot of those are wicked! thanks for sharing.
I do have one complaint, though. And that's because when I looked them over again, I realized that there was a "mysterious body parts" cover in the list that I'm still trying to figure out what's what on. On the cover of DEATH BY SEDUCTION, I see him, I think, but is that her side or leg?
Or do I need to stand on my head again? ;p
Bev - I think they are facing each other with her back to us. She has one of those 18 inch waists yet with curves that so few of us really have.
Yeah, that's what I thought, Kristie. Or at least it's one of the possibilities I played around with. The only question I have if that's her back, however, is where is her arm? Or at least armpit? Cause that sure looks like the beginning of a curve of some type at the edge.
You know, I think I'm going to start a collection of these "mysterious body part" covers and really turn them into puzzles . . . ;p
I couldn't see the arm either???? LOL And then I noticed there is a crowd watching them. Now that would put a damper on the evening's proceedings one would think.
OMG!! Ebooks without those horrible computer-generated "people"! There are some lovely ones there.
