Squuueeeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllllll

I've been keeping a secret. It's been killing me to do so, but I said I would. A week or so ago I was contacted by a representative at Source Books asking if I would be interested in a copy of A Certain Book.

HEH. HEH. HEH.

Does the sun set in the West? Does is snow in Northern Ontario in the winter? Is it hot around the equator?
I replied within minutes of reading the email with a resounding YES!!
I asked if I could do a post on it and she asked if I could wait until I received the book as they were just printing of copies that day.

I was just sitting in my lovely kitchen when the back door bell rang. As I just got out of the shower (it's my day off and I often move slow on those days) and wasn't dressed yet, I ignored it. Then I heard the door open and when and saw a Fed Ex truck drive off.

"Noooooooooooooo!" I screamed, thinking I knew what they might have been delivering and furious with myself for having missed it. Then I glanced down and there was a package at my feet. Let me tell you I ripped open that package as fast as my little hands would allow and nestled inside........

Back Cover Blurb:

HIS WIT AND INTOXICATING GOOD LOOKS HAVE SERVED HIM WELL...
Jamie Sinclair, abandoned and despised at an early age, learned quickly to fend for himself. Now he looks forward to finishing one last mission for his king and finally collecting his reward...

RAISED TO RULE HER CLAN, SHE'LL STOP AT NOTHING TO PROTECT HER OWN
Daughter of a Highland laird, heiress to a title, a fortune, and vast properties, Catherine Drummond rides fearlessly into battle against the English forces sent to quell the Scot's rebellion....

When Catherine falls into the hands of vicious mercenaries, Jamie impulively marries her on the spot to save her from a grim fate. But in a world where princes cannot be trusted and faith fuels intolerance, hatred, and war, no good deed goes unpunished....

Oooooh - can we say shivers?!?

Me too! I just keep looking at it and debating if I should read it now or try to hold off until July or so. Or I could just read it twice. :)

A big thank you Kristie! If it wasn't for you I might not have read Judith James and would have missed out on a wonderful author.

Enjoy and write an awesome review giving nothing away! This one is another that I have been waiting for!

Barbara: Now that I have it in my hands (well - OK I had to put it down to type) I'm almost reluctant to start it. I think I might savour it for a while - you know - hug it and squeeze it fondle it a bit.

Kati: Hopefully we will love it as much as Broken Wing. I know that one blew you away too :)

Anna: Jumping up and down squeeing for you. Have you started reading it or are you still in the hugging and squeezing stage?

Amy: Ditto to you and same question - heh heh heh

CC aka CJ: I hope it's as good too - though I have no doubt it will be. I love the time period it's set in.

Lea: Thanks *g*. There's some hugging going on with that squeeing.

Leslie: I have to be ready to set off a block of time. I read Broken Wing six times before I could move on from it!!! And if this one has the same effect......

Jessica: Unfortunately :-( it will be a while before it's publishes. Not until September I think - or is it July? Now I'm confused - a state I find myself in quite a bit actually.

AL: I'm still waiting to think what you thought of her first one. You haven't gotten to it yet have you?

Tracy: I wanted to post about it the moment I heard - 'cause of the first book - but I was a good girl

Aymless: Not very good was it? I don't think I've read any of her books before.

Julie: This is only her second book and you JUST HAVE to read Broken Wing!!! I read it *um* six times it's THAT good - at least for me :)

VampFanGirl: Well I will be waiting to see your thoughts on BW. That was so nice of Barbara - and she's not steering your wrong!!

Heather: I will report when I read it - though it might take a while. I have to just 'look' at for a little bit first. And since it's not out for a while.....

LOL! I don't blame you IN THE LEAST!!! Hug away, Kristie :)

You lucky girl, I'm jealous, too. Can't wait for you to get past that hugging and get to telling us more about it.

*hanging head in shame* I haven't yet, no...

But there'll be a review, you know that  as soon as I do.

You know what I love, having met you I can actually hear you yelling 'noooooooooo!' I'm so glad they dropped it at the door for you though!

Can't wait for your review - I have to admit I'm saving Broken Wing - you know me, I have to have backups for when things get dicey!

Hey, where'd you get snoopy!!?

LOL, can't wait to see if you're going to start another campaign for this book! :)

Nath: If it hits me the same way Broken Wing did - I will. But I'll have to figure out something different again *g*

Cindy: it was only be a freak accident I figured out how to do it. I have a photobucket account. Of course I'd long forgotten my password and had to have them send it to me again. Anyway, once I got into Photobucket again, I did a google search on Snoopy Happy Dance and when I found one that was animated, I saved it by URL into my photobuckett account. Of course I had to use the 'help' feature there too.

AL: Well - you better let me know 'cause I will be awatchin' :-)

PamP: Oh you can be rest assured that I will - *wicked grin*

Barbara: I had me quite a scare this morning I tell you!! I was just getting ready to leave for work and was looking for it to put in my purse - not that I'm ready to read it quite yet - but I have to have it close. And I couldn't find it ANYWHERE!! Now you have to understand I have books and books and books in every room of the house. I frantically looked for it and thankfully found it under another book on the bed that is COVERED in books in the computer room. Mind you - I was late for work - but I had the book with me.

It's the least they could do surely? You probably sold more copies of Broken Wing than anybody else.
