Today’s post is a post of links – at least until I let my mind wander again
It’s my day up at Reader’s Gab over at Access Romance wherein I offer my take on nice bloggers/mean bloggers
There are a couple more reviews of The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie, which as you may have gathered is my latest pimp it up book.
MK has hers

MK has hers
And
Tracy has hers
There is Orianna’s Broken Wing challenge and she is still accepting new joiners.
And in other news –
So – my little family is going to grow by one.
No, I haven’t been knocked up. There are steps involved to reach that end and those steps are lacking in my life. And besides – I’m pretty sure I’m eggless now anyway.
No, neither of my sons has fallen madly in love at first sight and eloped on the weekend. I’m still waiting for news of a daughter-in-law with no real prospects on the horizon.
Instead – Zina, Princess Nota Warrior Cat is going to get a little sister. I always figured I’d be one of the dotty old cat ladies with a house full of cats and in that effort, there is a coworker who has kittens to give away. Seems her little indoor cat managed to escape one early morning and she is the one who got knocked up. I’ve been thinking and thinking about getting another cat but was worried about Zina’s nose being out of joint. But as people keep telling me again (and again and again) she’s not a very friendly cat. She is to me of course. Many times she won’t leave me alone – like when I’m trying to read – but to others, I may see their point. But if Zina really doesn’t take to a little sister, Ryan who is also a cat lover, said he would take her – (they are all females). So I don’t have to worry. I’m probably picking her up tonight.
No - this isn't her but she is a Calico just like Zina and hopefully I will have pictures soon!

Awww~~~~ I am so happy for you! I love the way you tell us that you have a new edition to your family!
What a cute kitten Kristie! I love cats they have their own personality and identity. And, when in the mood they cuddle..
Best Regards
L
I checked that Broken Wing book because I liked the cover on your sidebar and it sounds fabulous. Thank you! ;)
And congrats on the new kitteh!!! I hope your little Warrior Princess accepts him/her. :)
Ohhh, congrats on the new addition! Please tell me there will be photos :)
And if this helps, my cat Tyrant (yes, that was his name and yes, I named him before the BDB were even a twinkle in JR Ward's eye :) was incredibly evil (and I'm being honest - he didn't like pretty much anyone apart from me)...I didn't think he would take to another cat, but he did (and this was a adult cat too, which I inherited). The two of them used to sleep on my bed...I say used to because I lost Ty 14 months ago :( And yes, the other cat and I still miss him.
And thank you for the shout-out :)
Did you pick up your new kitten? Does she have a name yet?
zomg, kitty! I love cats. :)
what a lovely addition to the family.
We have two cats and I definitely think two are better than one. Congrats.
Our guys are indoor cats, but you can't beat spaying and neutering for peace of mind, just in case one of them sneaks out.
((((orannia))))
Kristie, we want pictures of your new baby!
New kittens are always fun!!
I think her and Zina will get used to each other. I find it's easier to introduce a kitten or puppy to an older pet b/c the young one adjusts itself to the oldest.
Can't wait for pictures!
Awww! So lucky!
Don't panic if Zina gets pissed. They do take a while to get used to each other. When we got Emma I didn't notice during the time but I remember waking up one day and Amber meowing at me. It had been 9 months since Amber had meowed/talked to us. I didn't even notice it until that day. And Amber loved Emma!
Good luck!
