I'm just wild about Ian

It's probably apparent by now that when I get enthusiastic - at time I don't do it half-way. And you may have notice that the latest beneficiary of my enthusiasm is The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley (12 reviews and all of them 5's at Amazon - in this case they are getting it right!)

Amy of Romance Book Worm sent me an email the other day that she had just started it, was enjoying it and thought it was going to be one of 'those special books.' Since it is (!!) I replied and we exchanged emails while she was reading it. She gathered them up and used them for her review.

If you want to know what she (and me) thought of it - check out her 'review'.

~~##ETA##~~

And just in case you still aren't convinced:

Sarah loved it

Janet at DA liked it a lot!

AAR' Sandy gave in an A-

Romance Reader at Heart
almost gave it a Top Pick (I think they should have *g*)

Anyone else who read it and wants a mention - just let me know. I'm thinking - sidebar

I love your enthusiasm when you find a book that you love. I've benefited from it twice now and I'm pretty sure there will be more in the future! Thank you for letting us all know about Ian! He is such a great guy and Jennifer Ashley did a tremendous job.

I bought this book a few days ago and read it in hours. I love it. Ian will always be one memorable hero for me. Now the next book is agonizing to wait for.

I love your enthusiasm when you find a book that you love.Ditto! It's infectious! I loved your review of this book and am definitely hoping my library purchases it; I will just have to drop them a hint if they don't!

Oh, good, this one is on my list already. I can hardly wait. I haven't read many new books lately and I loved your review of this one.

Fabulous book, Ian is indeed a memborable hero, very touching when he finally understands what love is.

Anna: *g* Always go with the first thought - heh heh heh when it comes to buying a book 'cause you know your going to regret and get the book anyway.

Lea: Yep - this is a book to get enthused about. The last one I was this excited about was Broken Wing which (ahem) I'm still waiting for you to read :)

Amy: The one proceeding Broken Wing and Lord Ian was Ride the Fire by Pamela Clare - have you read that one?

Tabitha: Hi and Welcome! Wasn't it wonderful? Ian is the kind of hero that will stay with you for a long time. I know he has with me. And I hear you about the wait for the next one :-(

Orannia: It's a book that doesn't come along that often. While I love a lot of books I read, sometimes a certain book will hit me even harder - and then you just can't shut me up about it!!

Renee: Oh do get it and let us know what you think of it. Not everyone is going to be hit as hard as some of us. But for the ones that are - well it's a most delicious feeling.

PamP: What was so touching was all the time he was telling Beth he couldn't love her - we knew that he already did by his actions. He surely is the most unique hero I've ever read.

I've ordered this book from Amazon.com and can't wait to read it! The story description made me think of the type of stories Laura Kinsale writes (she's one of my favorites).

I've been dying to know what you think of "Fire at Midnight," but with the size of your TBR mountain, I am just going to have to keep on enduring the torture of not knowing, LOL.

Bless you for your enthusiasm for books!

I've looked and looked and can't find this book at any of the stores on my island! I'm waiting another week and if it's still not here, I'm ordering it.

I ordered this one from Chapters-Indigo because it's not on the shelves in Toronto!! It should arrive sometime next week, and I can't wait to dig in.

Vanessa: This is a huge issue I have with Chapters. There are a lot of books they don't stock and it infuriates me that the authors of some real great books are not getting the sales. I just checked and it says there are four copies in the whole city of London. But that doesn't mean they really are there - I've had that problem before.
OK - Rant over
I hope you love this one - I adored it - obviously - heh heh heh

Orannia: *laughing* keep in mind I don't that the reviewer at Romance Reader at Heart enjoyed it quite as much as the others.

Brie: It's a book worth tracking down - trust me ;-)

Nath: *gulp* You're a tougher critic than me - hopefully I haven't steered you wrong.

Lisa: I really like Kinsale too - thought I'm not sure how they would compare writing wise. I find Kinsale very lyrical in her writing and this one is more earthy if you understand what I mean.
And I have your book up in the top list of the TBR books :)
