Last Nights Lost

OK - I'll admit it. I was in a bit of a panic before the show started last night. I saw on the previews that someone dies and in another scene, Brian says that only two of the three will survive. I tried to brace myself for Sawyer's demise, thinking if it was him I wouldn't be watching the show anymore. I've said the same thing before about shows only to end up watching them a few weeks later. I did that with Dancing With The Stars when Willa and Max got booted off, but *sigh* I'm back watching it again. (I'm hoping Joey wins although all three of them are most excellent dancers).
But back to Lost. It seems the last few weeks have seen more of a return to the Lost of old. We get to see more of the other survivors. I had a feeling once the show started it would be Eko's turn. Well, more than a feeling I guess since it was pretty obvious. I kind of thought through previous shows that he had turned himself around and become a good guy, but it didn't seem as if he really did did it? At the end, when he thought he was confessing to his brother, he obviously wasn't the least bit repentant.
And that was kind of an interesting clue about the black smoke wasn't it? Locke said he saw a bright light and Eko saw black smoke. I wonder if it's a Ghost kind of thing?
And what was with the deal with Juliet? I can't figure out what the heck is going on with these people. Are they really staging a revolt against Ben or is it another mind game?
And if they are doing everything just because Ben wants Jack to operate on him, why the heck didn't they just ask him instead of messing aroung like they seem to like to do?
And again, at least by the previews, I'm going to be worrying if it's the end of the line for Sawyer.
As per usual, more questions than answers. Lisa will be real cranky now*g*. She watches it but doesn't like the fact that nothing seems to get answered.
And I think next week is the final episode for a while.
I know I've said it before, but I really don't like what they are doing!! They have overdosed me on previews of the show that's replacing it and while it looks interesting, they have now oversold me.

'til later

Zeek: I MISSED that!!! How could I have missed that?? Being firmly in the Kate and Sawyer camp - I shall be glued to the set.
I liked Eko too *sigh*. You notice how all of the tailies are gone now? Guess it didn't pay to be on the back of the plane!
And I want to know about Walt and Michael too!
And even worse! Apparently it's not January we have to wait for - it's February!!! Damn them! But again it will be a string of all new episodes.

Okay...

1. I can't believe next week is the "Fall Season Finale!" What the heck is that about, we get 6 or 7 episodes and the damn thing goes on hiatus.

2. Is Juliette stringing Jack along? Or are they really trying to kill off Ben. There has been animosity between Juliette and Ben from the first episode this season.

3. I was channel surfing this morning and saw "Mr. Ekko" on Regis and Kelly, he knew he'd be killed off early. What was that thing that killed him? It's been following him around since his character was introduced.

4. I think Zeek's right they're introducing new characters to kill off.

5. Definitely don't think they'll kill off Sawyer.

6. I'm on the Sawyer/Kate bandwagon, sorry Zeek.

Tara: I think it was his bad kharma or something like that. Remember in the movie Ghost (if you saw it) the bad people were taken to hell by black smoke and the good people were taken to heaven by a white light - at least I think that's how it went. It's been a while since I've seen it. But for a cloud of smoke, it sure did have a lot of power! And I also think it came in the form of his brother too. Mayb it was Eko's chance to repent and since he didn't, it killed him. And interesting how Eko said it was coming for the rest of them next. It was so good to see some of the mysticism again that made the first season so intriguing.
And I don't know what's up with Juliette either. These people are all seriously whacked. You can't trust one of them. But I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out she's a bad guy and Ben is a good guy. Of course we never really seem to get answers so who knows LOL.

See, this is why I don't like spoilers. I had no clue Eko was going to die and I was definitely choked up. I didn't feel he needed to repent which was funny. He killed people but it all started to save his brother. He should have repented for what he did afterwards but he said he had to do what he had to do to survive. Thing was, he was building a church on the island because he knew he owed his brother a church.

The smoke has been seen before but I thought it was by a different person - wasn't there smoke when they went to the ship for dynamite?

Also, there was a theory I had that those who died had found peace with themselves but that got blown to hell when the smoke killed Eko.

I guess the pilot from the original season was killed by the smoke! Remember the noise and the weird sound?

I really did love Eko.

I love Locke!

As for what that woman is doing, I think she wants Jack to kill Ben and then she will over throw the 'others' Remember, Sawyer said she would kill without hesitation so maybe she would be worse than Ben!

Ben told Jack that they wanted to break him to believe that helping Ben was his own idea but that since he had seen his X-rays it wasn't feasible anymore. I think Juliet let him see the X-rays on purpose.

Next weeks episode looks super sexy - make sure you don't miss it Kristie!! Course, then there is the scary ;)

Oh and I thought Eko was going to say to Locke that he could see the light so again, I was shocked when he siad, they were next!

Okay, I'm done ;)
