Lea reminded me with a recent post that I haven't seen two of the biggy medieval type movies - The Last Knight and King Arthur. But here is one that I have seen - and own - and really like - Kingdom of Heaven. And I love the song in this video too - Loreena McKennitt. And best of all Lea - there is a kissing scene in this one

Hi Kristie, thanks for the clip. I've only been able to see this movie in bits and pieces on tv.... there are so many good films and not enough time! Orlando is very nice (to look at :) indeed. Hope you're having a good week!

Allison: *g* It was my pleasure. If you ever get a chance to you should watch the whole of this movie - it's pretty good. And Orland is Very Fine to look at - Very Fine indeed. And my week will really start picking up tomorrow when I start a mini vacation and meet up with some friends.

We own this movie on DVD, it's one of GG's faves. So you'd think if he sees it on TV he pulls out the DVD to watch it? Nope. He just joins the movie wherever it's at and continues from there. We were just talking about this last night because we noticied it playing one of the movie channels.

I own this movie but have yet to see it. I'm not going to watch the scene you have posted so I can watch the whole movie first. Then I can obsess about the kissing scenes ;)

Jessica: so many people seem to poo poo Orlando Bloom as just a pretty boy - he is that alright - but I also thought his acting in this movie was pretty good! And in fact, I just ordered the 4 disc directors cut version becasue I was reading that almost an hour was cut out of the theatrical release and watching the movie with the added scenes, it makes a lot more sense - not that I had difficulty following it. Those medieval romance books ARE good for more than just the romance!!

Cindy - It's ok - it's safe watch - it's a series of scenes from the movie set to a haunting song by Loreena McKennit. So nothing is 'given away'. *g*

Rosie: *um* I'm like that too. If I see a movie I enjoyed and own on the movie channel, I'll sit and watch it on that channel too. And GG has good taste :)

I really liked "Kingdom of Heaven" too (as well as "King Arthur" and "The Last Knight"). I'm big on the medieval. :)

I have to be honest, I liked Kingdom of Heaven too. It's wasn't historically accurate, but I didn't care! And yes, Orlando was fine to look at :)
