Now I can blame it on Wendy

I haven't felt right since I got home from San Francisco. At first I thought I was just super tired, but no matter how much sleep I got, it wasn't enough. I even called in sick one day and did nothing but sleep. My sister told me it was my punishment for planning on calling in sick when I wasn't. But I didn't though - I did go into work on Tuesday. But I still was tired like you wouldn't believe.
I still haven't unpacked my suitcases yet, that's how bad it's been.
The house is a disaster, I can't remember the last time every single room was this bad.
Me - me who loves to catalogue books still hasn't even begun to do that yet.
The thought of food - ugh! Doesn't matter though as it's going right through.
I had to work yesterday and again today. I had a coworker feel my forehead yeterday and apparently I was burning up. I knew it!! But as I'm the only one doing the job on the weekends, I have to go in.
I'm not often sick and the odd times I am, it's not for this long.
One of the problems of living alone is not having anyone to whine too when one is sick so I'm whining here.
I'm sick and I don't like being sick.

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Must admit, I've felt rough since RWA, and I haven't unpacked my case properly either. Think mine is mostly jet lag and sleep deprivation though, although I have got a bit of a cough.

Take care of yourself.

Love

Portia: See - mine started off with a cough too that didn't go away and tiredness that doesn't seem to get any better no matter how much I sleep. I think you might have it too cause it sure sounds like the same kind of symptoms!! I know I didn't feel like this when I got back from Dallas - tired yes - but not this dragging tiredness and cough and total lack of energy.
So you take care of yourself too!

Now see, that's not what I have. Mine was just no voice and tired. The cough didn't show up until yesterday, and man let me tell you, it sucks. And I never got any sort of fever.

I'm hoping if I make enough excuses I'll feel less like Typhoid Wendy.

Oh no, poor baby! Here is a tissue. I have some chicken soup on the stove.

Do you want me to read a tale to you from this very naughty ebook? Of course you do.

Get well soon, KB!

Well the tired I had until like Friday then I did something dumb like stay out until 230 a.m. because my bro (from SF) was in town. I'm dragging and lagging again. However, no cough, and (thank God!) no fever.

I hope you feel better soon. You can whine as much as you want especially if it makes you feel better, even if it's only a little tiny bit better. Whine away.

I'm sorry you're sick. Take time off!!! Seriously, even your co-workers don't want you to come in!

And now I'm worried there is not enough air space between London and my house ;)

Sorry to hear you're not well. Hopefully, you've started to pick up a bit by now.

My sleep pattern is completely mucked up, but thankfully no coughs or other nasty symptoms.
