About What I Said Last Night

For the record now - these are not Compensation books. Nope - they are just curious books. See - I went to Walmart and.....

The Gate to Eden by Cathy McDavid - because it's a Western and I like the cover

and

Parallel Attraction by Dierdre Knight - because it's a futuristic and I lurve them

and

Lord Perfect by Loretta Chase - I finally broke down and bought ugly cover book because Rosario really liked it - and it is a Chase

and speaking of ugly Chase covers - it looks likes she is finally getting a break. This cover is much better than the original!

although his hair is more geared towards 2006 than 1896 (or whatever year it's set in - I forget. Great book though

and finally

From the First by Jessica Bird - because it is JR Ward and because Sybil likes it.

'til later

Hey! I haven't read From the First yet, it is the third of the series and I am reading the second as we speak (His Comfort and Joy).

no clue if it stands alone... feel free to let me know ;)

Somebody reviewed Parrallel Attraction and it sounded good. I'm thinking it was Paperback Reader.

Hmmm, like I need to buy more books--LOL.

I'm almost at the half point of PA and so far I'm loving it! I started reading during lunchbreak at work today and I probably will finish it today : )

I can't tell, is that Jessica Bird book this month's release - I'm going over to the new handy-dandy Chapters site and see if any of the bookstores in my area have it. Thanks for the heads up!

Marg: *grin* no - Chase would never be a comp or spec book. The only thing that kept me from getting it earlier was the truly horrendous cover. Why they did that after the first two weren't that bad is a mystery!

Tara: isn't it odd how we "have" to buy more books - when we don't really heh heh

Erika: Thanks for letting me know! See - you can score on "just curious" books

Sybil: You read her other ones though right? See - that's what I get when I skim read sometimes - I kind of miss the point.

Cindy: guarantee that you will be hooked on this feature. For example - I just checked this morning. His Wicked Kiss by Gaelen Foley is out now - but not here in London. So I saved myself a frustrating trip - and pesos in compensation books.

Yes it is Cindy. But it was already sold out at the Walmart I looked at. So I have it being mailed in a few weeks.

I WANT the new GF. ::pout::
