Smack me on the head and call me stupid! I would have posted this earlier but I worked (and worked DAMN hard on the weekend and came home and vegged both nights - though I did have time for some reading of a Very Good Book)
I forgot to mention in my previous post - The Good, The Bad, The Unread has a fascinating interview with Jennifer Ashley, the author of The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie and as a bonus, has FOUR ARC's to give away.
And.... SandyM also has a great review of this book. I'm not the only one who adores it :)
And in other news of interest....we have us another Crusader!! Stacy - fellow good Crusader that she is, pointed me in the direction of Beth Kery, author of Wicked Burn recently watched North and South - and loved it!!

Hi Kristie,
It's funny how this webwork of contacts works. :) Lea, from the closetwriter blog, just told me about your comment. Stacy had also told me that you were a North and South crusader when she commented on my review of it. You were right to be so inspired. I loved the movie.
Have a great day, Kristie!
Oh...I didn't mean for that comment to be anonymous. LOL. It's me...Beth Kery
Thanks for the heads up Kristie!
:) VFG
I love ARCs... I have a friend that used to work at Romantic Times, and that was the best year of my romance-reading life!
Hm... one of these days, I'm really going to have to watch North and South...
I am so going to have to watch North and South over Easter Kristie!
Thanks
L
no can do--I'm not calling you names and I'm most definitely *not* smacking you.
Hope your week is starting on the right foot, Kristie!
Sorry you were working all weekend, but it's always nice to get lost in a good book :)
Everytime I hear of a new Crusader, it makes me want to re-watch N&S. So that's a very good thing *g*
Beth: It is indeed a small world isn't it? I don't know if you went back to see some of the earlier posts - we started the Crusade in November of 2007 but it sure was a lot of fun and it's great to see people are still finding this wonderous series.
Kate: *g* You should! You should! And it's so easy to become a Crusader.
Lea: *laughing* And if you read Broken Wing - you can become both a Crusader and a Questor!! And be happy to be one of each on top!
AL: Heh heh - I do it enough to myself *g* And as I was off on a Monday and covered all that grey that was starting to show through again with gorgeous red and copper highlights it wasn't a bad start - not bad at all :-}
Stacy: I actually don't mind working weekends. It's only one in three and it's a different kind of atmosphere - no supervisors or bosses around. And it's usually pretty relaxed. But this past one was much busier than usual.
And I know what you mean about wanting to watch it again. I do too!
I NEED to read Broken Wing!
But I have watched North & South. It was so lovely!
I hope after working the weekend you are able to squeeze in some down time!
