RWA UPDATE: 2008 "Readers for Life" Literacy Autographing List of Authors is Now Posted!

From RWANational.org:
The "Readers for Life" Literacy Autographing has become one of the most popular events at RWA's annual conference. Over 500 romance authors participate in this two-hour autographing event, and each year we raise thousands of dollars, which are donated to ProLiteracy Worldwide. Since 1991, RWA has donated over $600,000 to literacy charities.

The 2008 "Readers for Life" Literacy Autographing takes place on Wednesday, July 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the San Francisco Marriott, Yerba Buena Ballroom.

  2. OMG!!! I just noticed that the event is only scheduled for 2 hours - 2 hours. Seriously?!! That is totally nuts. I guess if I was attending I would have to have a severely shortened game plan.

  3. So, I'm wondering, if you can't get an author whose signature you'd like to sign at the signing, say because their line was too long, you just didn't make it in 2 hours, whatever, is there an etiquette for asking for a signature later? Is that a no-no?

Are there authors out there who can answer that?

  9. Pidute: LOL - it IS confusing isn't it, if you are fairly new? All the blogs under The Crusaders have watched and blogged about North and South - over time. The regular blog roll is further down under Blog Hopping. I suppose I should switch it around sometime, but when we (Sula, Katie and I) first started our Great North and South Crusade, there weren't that many for a while.
