This is the one and only pic I will put on the blog with me in it. Until and unless I loose a certain amount of weight that is. It's only to prove that I did indeed meet The Nora. Thanks Jane for sending it!
nikki: Hi!!! Thanks for dropping by! I know you from AAR. *g* It was a thrill and a half meeting her. I'm not sure she knew who I was, but once I said I was Kristie J from Ramblings on Romance she might have recognized the name. There's even more to come too!
Even I have to say it is very cool that you met Nora Roberts! I like her writing as J.D. Robb, but the stuff she writes under Roberts is not really my thing. :)
So so cool! And pffft on the weight thing. You're beautiful. Inside and out. (I've been hanging out with Anne too long. Her pffft thing is rubbing off on me *g*)
What a great photo! You look beautiful, Kristie. I'm so happy that you had such a great time in Dallas! (Tinged with jealousy that I couldn't be there too, of course... LOL!)
Kailana: I ADORE the In Death books. Eve Dallas is who I aspire to be but will never make it. And it wouldn't be so bad to have a Roarke.
Lori: I wish I could say pffftt to the weight thing. *sigh* I've really packed on the pounds in the past couple of years though.
Jaci: OK - I checked out the pic through my fingers. Alas all I can see is that huge double chin. But you look great!
Amie: thanks *blushing*
Karen W: I had such a wonderful time, I'm really running out of good words to use.
Cindy: Would you belived I got kicked out of a restaurant once because of my laugh? Yep, they asked me to leave. And I had had nothing to drink. Of course when the people I worked with found out, they boycotted them.
so you DID meet nora! wow!
ReplyDeleteand i'm glad you posted the photo. you're beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI have never read Nora...i'm afraid to open that can of worms, since she has written like a ga-zillion, but I am still impressed. ;)
