I can't believe I did this

But I did because Where's my Hero is so persuasive.........

And I wanted to give Sybil a laugh.........

And it was buy 3 get 1 free at Chapters - and I had a $20 gift certificate from Mother's Day.......

So I bought........

Are you ready?

Angel in my Bed by Melody Thomas (doesn't she also play Nikki in Y&R)
AUUUGGGGHHHHH - hell did not freeze over but my eyes, my eyes!!!! Half naked Mullet Man and Sleazy looking girl with odd droopy tits.

I also got myself

The Sea King by Jolie Mathis
because it's getting great reviews and it's a Viking Romance NOT a Regency and a new author

and

Squeeze Play by Kate Angell
because Tara liked it and it's a baseball book

and last but not least

Stuck in Shagri-la by Kasey Michaels
Because it looks cute and I loved her last ones - even though they were historicals

'til later

  1. I'm leaning towards buying the Sea King. A newbie author and Viking setting! I'll get it!

  2. LOL! I love the KM book cover. It's a gnome! I almost want to read that just because there's a gnome on the front.... God, I'm a dork.

  4. That Melody Thomas cover is painful.

I can't wait to hear about the viking book.

The pressure, hopefully you'll like Squeeze Play.

Good luck with KM, I'm completely hit or miss with her, though I do love the gnome.

  6. Erika - it does look intriguing doesn't it?? Tortured hero, intelligent hero, set in Viking times :)

Samantha - the gnome is adorable. And a much better cover than the first one.

Lori - I have a couple of other ones by her in my TBR pile but I'm moving this one up 'cause I love baseball.

Tara - No pressure *grin* I would have got it anyway once I saw the cover

Sybil - it's a gamble I'm taking. I haven't read her before, but she does seem to get good reviews. And Y&R is a real popular soap here in Canada and many of the stars are often coming up here. She's one of the more frequent visitors. She was here in London last year.
