I wasn't too busy at work so I worked on a post. When I tried to save it my computer crashed - lost everything I had written.
Came home, started again and the computer crashed - lost everything I had written.
I took it to mean it wasn't meant to be

I hate that--mine crashed while I was emailing you the other night, I think my drive is going. I should really do something before it's completely shot.
ReplyDeleteI'll post the same thing I post whenever someone complains about losing a post... you should try w.bloggar. That's a little program in which you can save your post as you go, as if you were writting it on a word processor, but it's got all the html tag keys and you can post directly to blogger from it, just clicking on a button. Blogger ate way too many half-written posts of mine before I started using w.bloggar!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate that! I try to save every two seconds now, I've been burned before.
ReplyDeleteYea, I've learned to save a lot now too. But of course when I forget too, that's when it crashes. I swear they're alive!!!

ReplyDeleteI hate that &%%$ too, when my computer crashes and I'm in the middle of a post. I think it has something to do with a web connection, like when someone's phoning me and they leave a message on my voicemail - it kicks me offline and then I have to go through the whole boot-up process again. I wish people would stop calling me; they know I'm online but they just want to bother me anyway. I wish you much happy blogging!
