And a 4 our of 5 is a pretty good grade - it equals a B and a B is a good mark!

Brandy: Hello out of lurkdom and welcome!! I'm glad you are still planning on getting this one. Reading is so subjective and what can bother one person can be a non issue to the next reader. There is a book that Wendy read a while ago in which she couldn't stand the heroine - I think she will probably remember which one *g* and didn't give it a thumbs up at all. Me on the other hand - I LOVED it and the choices and things the heroine did to drive Wendy crazy didn't bother me at all. So while I love it when a reader wants to read a book that I loved (and cross my fingers that they love it too based on the fact that I did), unless I really loathe a book, I feel bad if they don't get a book based on what I think. Because for that reader, they might just be missing a book that they would enjoy. And I did enjoy Gotcha enough to encourage readers to give it a try and see what they think.

Nath: *laughing* I haven't read any other book by her so I can't compare them - but a 4 our of 5 makes a book a 'try it' from me. See - wasn't I a big help there?

AL: *grin* weeellll - I'd be willing to bet my TBR pile is bigger so you don't have to hide yours for a while :)Kristie (J)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15743921647882733738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-23562183457880284692009-04-28T09:31:00.000-04:002009-04-28T09:31:00.000-04:00Good Lord woman, you are dangerous with your revie...Good Lord woman, you are dangerous with your reviews! And there have been books where I couldn't stand the heroine because of TSTL moments - because the heroine WAS TSTL. But Macy wasn't like that. She did a few stupid things but overall she was quite smart. She will never be in the running for a favourite heroine for me - but she certainly didn't ruin the book.

Orannia: The cop was mighty fine - heh heh heh. And another good thing was her TSTL moments didn't come back to bite her - well one kind of might have a bit - but not in a way that she put anyone in danger kind of way.

She Reads: I think when it comes right down to it, although TSTL moments can be annoying, this book was quite readable and it did have quite a few enjoyable moments to it. And she did stand up to Jake very well :)Kristie (J)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15743921647882733738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-41856613869205410212009-04-26T23:26:00.000-04:002009-04-26T23:26:00.000-04:00Hi Kristie!
