Thank you for sharing.Stacy~https://www.blogger.com/profile/14919278697757441246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-1160259420969150042006-10-07T18:17:00.000-04:002006-10-07T18:17:00.000-04:00Devon: I've bid on a few things :) There is some...Devon: I've bid on a few things :) There is some great stuff isn't there?

Nikki: How wonderful that you have such a wonderful addition to your family! It's way late in my life, but I so admire people who have such big hearts that go through the process of international adoption. And what a wonderful way you put it!

Rosie: same to you in adopting your sons. And I am with you on your soap box! I think it's a very loving things birth mother do when they give their child for adoption because for one reason or another they can't raise the child themselves. They really are doing what is best for the baby they have brought into the world.Kristie (J)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15743921647882733738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-1160242264682306172006-10-07T13:31:00.000-04:002006-10-07T13:31:00.000-04:00Both of my boys are adopted...but not from oversea...Both of my boys are adopted...but not from overseas. We get the "how wonderful you are to have adopted" line still. Then in the next breath usually something along the lines like "I could NEVER give my baby up."

Birth moms aren't scum or trash. They are women who made a hellish choice to give their child the best life they could...one they know they can't provide. Adoption is as much a choice as abortion...and isn't a woman's choice what it's all about?

Okay, off my soap box now. But, yes adoption is an incredible experience and I would not have been able to parent without adoption.

As for the link Kristie, I ended up linking to many other things once there. This is an awesome idea and kudos to you for bringing it to people's attention.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15868327419940314643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-1160155704986827112006-10-06T13:28:00.000-04:002006-10-06T13:28:00.000-04:00Thanks so much for pointing this out! (the other is having my son, who is biologically mine). Becoming a mother in both ways, is simply the biggest blessing of my life. There are no words to describe it.

People are always telling me how wonderful it is that we "saved" a little girl from China and we are heros. That is just crazy! She is the one that is our hero! She has given us (me, my husband and son) so much more than we could ever give her. Truly. If anyone out there is thinking about adopting, don't think about it, DO IT. Your life will be blessed in ways that you can't even imagine.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09404478354346691446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10897259.post-1160079300768877042006-10-05T16:15:00.000-04:002006-10-05T16:15:00.000-04:00I'm going to find something to bid on, with my pal...I'm going to find something to bid on, with my paltry few bucks.
