The Sounds of Silence

Arthur the Dog has left the building.

Now the words aren't really applicable - but I've always loved this song.

And be sure to check out Reader's Gab. 'Tis JMC's turn this week.

Oh - and Zina is back - kind of. I've seen her and she is making pitiful little meows, but she in NOT HAPPY with me and I don't expect to hear her sweet little purr for a day or two.

'til later

Love the song. Loved S&G. Too bad they couldn't get along. Did you leave the bathroom door open when you showered this morning? : )

Rosie: *laughing* I haven't had a shower yet. I'm headed out very shortly to cut the grass and no sense having one before hand. But - I still think I'll close the door anyway. When Lisa picked Arthur up, she said hopefully we'll be even some day. I told her laughingly that we will never be even after the "shower incident."

Zeek: They were great weren't they? And they seem to be not nearly as geeky looking as they were when they were together.

Love S&G too. I have their greatest hits double CD and I play it quite often.

Renee - their voices blend so beautifully together don't they. And they had such amazing songs together. Ron used to say I Am a Rock was his song. Who knows what great music we are missing since they couldn't seem to work togethers. Sad when you think about it.

My husband has said that S&G are suicide music - I love them and he even took me to see them in Toronto 13 years ago - they sang and G tried to say something nice and even though I couldn't see him up close I swear S rolled his eyes and left the stage.

C'mon, you're missing Arthur the Dog just a little bit, right? ;)
